I have used it for about a month now and absolutely love it. Works perfect, no problems and well worth the price. Don't let the fact that it was sent back discourage you, I think some of these are just returns from customers who decided they didn't want it. It is a bit larger then some of the other coffee machines. Love, love, love it.

We love this coffeemaker. It makes a great cup of coffee ~ especially with the gold filter that was included. I love the stainless carafe ~ it keeps coffee hot for at least 2 hours (if it lasts that long) ~ Is easy to use and comes apart easily to clean. Priced well ~ we saved about $60 from the retail price ~ I highly recommend it!

I brought this item as a gift for a coffee lover and she was delighted with it. Ervery morning we now wake to the smell of freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee.

its ok it does what it says it does but for a refurbish item it was very used (scratched) and a bit stainned.

My first experience with the Grind and Brew was being jolted awake at 5:00 AM while staying at relatives over Christmas, but after enjoying the coffee for a week, I decided I had to have one. The Overstock price was certainly right, and the specimen I received, while obviously not brand new, was in fine condition. The carafe actually did look new, and the other components were fine after a trip through the dishwasher. So far all systems are go, and the coffee is great. I've been grinding my beans for years, so the steps involved with this pot are no big deal. Because of a few comments about problems from other purchasers, I did spring for the extended warrenty, but so far, so good. Thanks, Overstock!

I was surprised to learn this machine must be disassembled after each use and cleaned. That said, it can be done quickly and left to air dry or placed in dishwasher before the next use. Little debris makes it to the main portion of the machine that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher. The reconditioned units are an impressive savings (roughly half of a SALE price at a local department store) and make the unit a great value if you don't mind a little mark here and there. My carafe had wear on the exterior.

I love it. The only pain is having to clean out the grinder every time. Other than that... I love it. Worth every penny!!!

the coffee maker works great, but there was some damage with my first order. the return process was extremely easy and convenient and the shipping was payed for. my replacement product had a few cosmetic defects, but was in good condition and works great.

Am enjoying this product. Some suggestions: when grinding beans regularly, removed all removable parts and clean on a regular basis, The channel where the ground coffee goes to the filter, can become clogged.

Great product! I am very happy with the coffee this machine brews, although there are many parts to clean afterwards. Pretty easy to clean, though. Prompt service, arrived in a few days after ordering! I would definitely reccomend this product.

it brews better than a lot of other coffermakers, and I've had a lot of different kinds. brings out the flavor.....even lets you know when it's ready, or if you don't want to wait, there's the pause feature. the timer feature works fine, but I usually just get it ready, the night before, and then turn it on when i get up........then ahhhh, that aroma, can't hardly wait for that first cup...yummy

I've only had the coffee maker for a little while so durability is still somewhat unanswered. The coffee is wonderful. I'm still getting use to the fact that I have to remove the grinding parts and make sure they're clean and dry before I start brewing again. Now I just remove and wash them before I put the coffee maker away so I know it will be ready to go the next morning. I love the fact I don't have to worry about turning it off or getting gross overwarmed coffee. Each cup is hot and tastes as fresh as the first cup I poured. The one real drawback is there is no way to tell without looking inside to see the water level so you better be at least medium height or you'll need a step stool to fill it. I'm 5.5 and I have to stand on my toes to see inside the water resevoir to fill it. You could tell it had been reconditioned and although the packaging said there was no gold filter enclosued it was there and looked brand new. I think the price was fair but I probably would have been unhappy had I paid full retail.

My husband and I love this machine. The clean up is a little more work than a regular grinder and maker but the taste is worth it.

The coffee maker I recieved looks like it's never even been used! There was one little surface scratch on the front, and that was it. It works great, and SUCH a great deal. I never would have been able to afford this coffee maker at full price, and we're so excited to be able to show it off in our kitchen!

Add water to the desired cup level line, spoon in one teaspoon of beans per cup, and push one button to enjoy a superb, fresh mug of coffee. What could be easier? My mind shuts down when faced with anything complicated so this is a machine I can, and do, use. It is a beautiful thing! And, it looks good on my granite countertop, too.m <g>

This coffeemaker was refurbished, I didn't see anywhere in the info. on line that this is what I was getting. Sometimes it worked & sometimes it didn't, mostly it didn't. I returned it. It was very nice to look at, but I wanted a coffeemaker I could use.

I bought this coffee maker (refurb'd) as a Christmas present for my parents. The first one I ordered did NOT work and we were both a little hesitant to order another refurb'd one but I re-read reviews and we decided to try again. Now, I do not live with my parents so I am just going by what they have told me (believe me, my mom can be painfully honest sometimes) and overall it is good. There were a few frustrations the first few times they used it but now that they have gotten used to things, they love it cause, as my mom said, "It makes a REALLLY delicious cup of coffee." When they got the replacement for the first one ordered, my dad forgot to securely close a door of some sort. After being awakened by what sounded like a jet engine firing up in their kitchen (the grinder IS LOUD) around 6am, he came out to find coffee ALL OVER the counter, down the cabinets and on the floor. BUT he figured out what had gone wrong and just made sure to securely close the door. Another time, something else happened and I offered to send this one back too and let them pick out something else. My mom said "NOOOO!!" SO, I had to assume they really do like it. Today, I happened to be over there visiting with the kids and overheard my Dad bragging about the fancy new coffee maker that I had given them for Christmas. He just raved about it to my Aunt and Uncle so, I am truly convinced that they like it. The return of the first, non-functioning one was uneventful and timely. I got both refunds (for the coffee maker and the 2 year warranty) without incident. I would recommend both the coffee maker (I have not tried the coffe but I am not much of a coffee conniosseur so...) and overstock.
