I got this for my mom and she loves it. Its a great product.

As I write this we've made about 20 pots of coffee so far, works perfectly. The grinder is noisy, but that's not much of an issue. It brews noticeably faster than our other coffee makers too. We like our coffee weaker than "typical", but after experimenting with the cups and strength settings, it makes perfect coffee every time. As for maintenance, you have to clean the grinder chute as it says in the instructions, the fine powder from the grinds collects around the chute and must be brushed away occasionally, no big deal. We clean ours after 5 or 6 pots. Great machine, should've gotten one a long time ago!

I figure it's safe to write a review of this product, since I have had it for a month now. I need my coffee in the morning - and I like strong coffee. My coffee pot was, I think, just tired and needed to be replaced. All my small appliances are Cuisinarts (some refurbished) so that's where I looked first. I was very surprised to see, across several web sites, that so many people were disappointed in this machine, so I bought the 2-yr replacement plan. but I have to say that I have been veryveryvery pleased with this product. The coffee is the right strength for me. The machine is very easy to clean, even with beans still in the hopper. I confess I only put the right amount of water in the reservoir, so watered-down coffee is not a problem. I especially like the external water gauge - makes filling the reservoir super easy. Bottom line, this is yet another great Cuisinart product!

After reading reviews on various websites and determining this was the model I wanted I purchased at overstock because of the price even though a refurbished model.I have had the unit for about a month with no complaints. Easy to use, coffee is great. Although the box indicated that the gold filter basket was not included, inside the box was a yellow piece of paper which said the filter had been included, but it was not. Upon inquiry to the customer service no. on the yellow paper, which was Cuisinart Customer Service, they did not confirm that the basket was supposed to be included. That is my only complaint.Otherwise I am very happy with the product. I have kept the box, etc since I havent had it very long, but we use it often and I am very pleased with it at this point.

Cuisinart usually has excellent products--this one misses the mark. It is impossible to have a cup of coffee without coffee grounds being in the bottom of my cup--ugh!! The directions in the manual are incomplete and do not guide you to proper usage of the product. Difficult to clean also. Will be returning this product and looking for a more suitable coffee maker.

Love this coffee Maker coffee tastes so good. Holds alot of coffee beans so you do not have to refill often.Easy to clean no more mess of grinding coffee with a grinder.Seattle Wa.
