This is a great coffee maker. The only complaint I have is that it takes a little extra time to clean up and it suggests you clean it after each use. I love that the grinder is part of the coffee maker. I also like the fact that when you brew the coffee, the aroma is strong!

I was so excited to find this coffee pot. It's one I have always wanted. I made my first pot 12 cups and it overflowed all over the counter and flood. It didn't do it when I only made 10 cups. So I was okay with that but the next day the grinder stoped working. Very frustrated.

I bought this as a refurbished unit. Have had the coffeemaker for 6 months and it works flawlessly. My entire family loves it and my son's teenage friends think it is really neat. If all you need is a straight forward coffeemaker that looks nice and even will grind the beans - look no further. I can't think of anything I could do to improve the product. It rocks!

Grinder unit too flimsy for long term use. You have to wash and completely dry the grinder unit before making another cup of coffee. So, if you make frequent pots, that may be a problem. Since I had a grinder, I sent the unit back and got another one without the grinder attached.

The coffee maker was shipped incomplete and it has been a complete nightmare to get Overstock to take responsibility and correct the problem. I'm forced to spend a lot of time to remedy this and the discount is not worth the problem. I would pay more to have less problem.

I purchased this 10-cup Cuisinart coffeemaker to replace a beloved but dead commercial coffeemaker. I chose this unit because it had the built-in burr grinder, the thermal carafe, and an accompanying gold-tone filter. After a month of use, I love this rig, and my only regret is that I didn't spend the extra money to get the 12-cup setup.

The first coffeemaker was broken in the box. The replacement coffeemaker arrived very quickly in one piece. Jury is still out on quality but so far, so good. I still have yet to find the free gold tone filter in either box. Does that count as "poor quality" for promoses not kept?

I was looking for a grind and brew coffee maker and compared prices at several sites. This model has all the function I was looking for, and easy to use/clean. I don't have problem buying a refurbished model as long as I add the 2-year extended warranty. If something should happen Overstock will refund the purchase any time within the 2 years. So you can purchase with confidence.

This coffee maker is just like brand new and works perfectly.

So, excited to get this!!! Been looking at a few coffee makers. A friend of mine has this one, which he paid about double the price for, and said "get it, it's an awesome machine" So, ordered it, with free shipping. Arrived and couldn't wait to get it out of the box. Which infact was a beautiful Cuisinart Box, as if I purchased it at the store! Got it out, inspected it all over, looked brand stinkin' new!! WOW what a coffee maker! Made my first cup of coffee and hooked! The grinding of the beans is a lil' louder then expected. But, it's super quick and so worth the delicious taste of this coffee! If your on the fence, go for it!! I actually went to order it and it was sold out! Put my name on the email list, and Overstock emailed me a few days later, saying it was in! Made sure NOT to wait this time to order. One of the BEST purchases I have made!! no spending 4.00 a day on coffee for me anymore!!! THANK YOU OVERSTOCK! You rock!

I took a chance ordering a refurbished item. When it arrived it looked brand new but as I brewed a pot of just water to clean it out before use it was clearly not refurbished. I filled the reservoir with 10 cups of water but it only brewed 2 or 3. I re-ran it 3 times to be sure I was following the instructions but it wouldn't empty the reservoir so I had to return it. Exchanging was easy but it took another week to get a replacement which so far seems to work as expected.

The ability to freshly grind the coffee makes for a perfect cup in the morning.

This is an excellent, reliable and cost-effective coffeemaker. It makes good coffee. One heads up ... do not get water into the base of the grinder around the grind shaft. Otherwise, you will have years of maintenance free service....

I've been using this item for almost a month and so far I'm happy with the results. Although it was listed as refurbished it looks like new and works without any issues. I love having the option of either grinding the coffee beans or using ground coffee in the device. The grinder is quite loud but the coffee tastes great. The thermal coffee pot keeps everything nice and hot and I love the 2-4cup brewing feature in which the machine makes the coffee hotter than when making a full pot. As soon as the coffee has been brewed the machine turns off as the thermal pot will keep the coffee hot for you - this is a nice option instead of having to remember to turn off the machine. Drawbacks - The machine needs to be cleaned after each and every use. This is a pain but not a 'deal breaker'! With the thermal pot you can't tell how much coffee is left and it pours slower than a regular coffee pot. I'm not patient enough and usually take off the lid on the pot when I'm pouring a cup of coffee. No level on the outside of the device to show how much water you're pouring into the machine. You have to peer into it to see the water level. Overall a good buy, great looking and good coffee!

I purchased this coffemaker as a replacement for the same model we had finally worn out after several years. I was very pleased to find that it appeared to be a new product even though listed as reconditioned. I love the thermal carafe which allows you to enjoy hot coffee over several hours without scorching it on the hot plate that some coffemakers use. The grinder sounds like a jet taking off (makes a great alarm clock if you use the automatic timer feature to start your morning coffee), but it does a great job. Takes a bit of time to clean the grinder cup, etc., but is worth the effort. I have purchased reconditioned products before from Overstock and have never been disappointed.
