Customer Reviews
Works fine. Good value. Refurbished no problem. The four removable pieces can be 'complex' for some. They all have to be removed for cleaning and reincerted correctly. I like the fact that it will not work unless the grinder cap is in place. Could be a mess if it did. Probably should not grind the beans until everyone is awake. The program that starts the grind and drip makes a great alarm clock (noisy grinder). The durability of the "snap" closers or buttons that open the various parts of the machine may be a concern in the long run, but no complaints so far.

When the coffee grinds it plugs the screen and cause spillage and, thus, weak coffee. This is even wrose when you set the timer. It doesn't seem to grind long enough.

This is the second Cuisinart Coffee Grinder/Maker I have bought. I have yet to use the grinder since we are using the rest of our bought coffee but I was a bit dismayed by the yellowish color on the front of the maker. The maker is all white but where the coffee is inserted, it looks like a plastic cover was removed and caused a yellowish color. Unfortunately, it on the front portion of the coffee maker and you can't miss it but I bought it to make coffee and understood that it was refurbished!

I bought this coffee maker for myself 3 years ago and love it. My mom stayed at my house this summer and wanted one for herself. I purchased this one for her christmas present. She loves it. The only negative is the grinder is loud. I use it as a back up alarm clock.

For the cost, it's great. I already owned the exact model in black. My Mom and brother loved my coffee so much that I purchased this as a gift for them. It doesn't matter that you have to take a little extra care to clean the bean grinder...it's absolutely worth it! (takes all of 3 extra minutes!)
