Great machine- My brother had been using his original Cuisinart (the older version of this) that was a wedding gift 26 years ago. He mentioned it should have a light into the cup so you can see how full your cup is - I looked this one up, the newest one, and bought it for him. NOT because the old one was broken, just because I wanted to give him a new one with the light he mentioned. This one will probably last another 26 years. Keeps coffee hot for a while with no burned taste, like in a pot. His family drinks way too much coffee in a day to use Kcups - he'd need a 2nd job to pay for them. Great, great buy.

Great coffee make I had a similar coffee made by Cuisinart than just stopped working after years of use. I wanted the reservoir type. I looked at other brands that were somewhat cheaper. I loved my old one and this one had the outside detachable water tank. Love it. It so much easier than my old one. It keeps the coffee hotter than a carafe. Every thing comes out and cleans up well. Water filter is nice touch. Glad I stayed with this brand. Overstock service was excellent as usual.

Modern coffee pot without the carafe It's a little strange that there is not a pot and the coffee remains on the inside of the machine. It's fine tho. The machine itself is a little wide and takes up a little too much counter space which is very important when you live in NYC. I really like that it has a built in charcoal filter.

This coffee pot is everything it says it is We are very very pleased with this coffee pot...........it is everything that we expected...........and then some! We have done the preset and were not disappointed............we have also used the turn off time thingy and have not been disappointed............we have also just turned it on in the morning..........and even grabbed a quick cup while still brewing............we have found that pushing the 1-4 cup button on does seem to provide a richer and better coffee flavor...........no matter if it is preset or not..........overall............we are very pleased with our new coffee pot!

I've been looking for just the right coffee pot. I did not want to go backward technologically – so no more descaling with vinegar flushes. I liked my previous thermal carafe, but the small opening made it impossible to clean. And I was really looking for a one-cup delivery system. My daughter bought me a Mr. Coffee system for Christmas, but it fell apart, piece by piece. She then replaced it with a Keurig, only to discover I'd be committed to the K-cup nightmare. Trying to find a system that would allow single servings, my own choice of coffee brands, and removable parts that were easy to clean was not easy–until I found this one. It seems to offer the qualities I'm looking for. The review looked good, so I'm hoping it delivers as promised.

I can get a travel mug that is about 8 inches tall. Anything higher will not fit. However, what we do is to move the coffee maker to the edge of the counter, remove the reservoir at the bottom and dispense the coffee with our taller coffee (travel) mugs. I love this coffee maker and now I never have to worry about the carafe breaking and finding the right one to replace it.
