We were initially thrilled with this product. But, this morning it turns on, heats, but does not BREW. I guess $10/month to brew 60 cups of coffee is alright. But, another cheaper brand was just brought out of retirement so we can have some coffee this morning. 90 day warranty only protects the manufacturer not the consumer.

We have had this coffee maker for over a year. I think the workmanship is fine, and it makes a great cup of coffee. Here are some of the problems with the coffee maker. It is hard to pour water in the machine so it leaks if you put the water in the wrong place and I mean leaks!!! Second ,a tall glass won't fit. A tall - to go coffee mug won't work. Other wise if your careful pouring water in the machine and don't need a tall cup this coffee maker is well worth the money.

BEST coffee maker i have ever had. First saw it at my sister's loved it so i ordered one, used it, then my daughter was looking for a new coffee maker so I had her order one and she loves it too. It's nice no glass carafe, dispenses 1 cup at a time. Coffee stays hot for the whole 2 hours it stays on, then it shuts off by itself. No bitter taste like other drip coffee makers and coffee is very hot not luke warm like other drippers. I would recommend it 100%!!! As a matter of fact this happens to be my second one. I use it everyday. Only downside to it is i wish where you put your mug under the dispenser was a little taller to fit taller mugs and traveling mugs.

The concept of this coffee maker is wonderful, but.....I ordered my first one, got up one morning and there was water all over my counter. This continued to happen, so returned it. It had been over 30 days since I purchased it, and at first I did not think they were going to take it back, but they did, and they sent me another....free shipping. Well, the same thing happened. Water all over the counter. I have not used it in 3 days, and this afternoon, all of a sudden, there was coffee all over my counter, down the front of my cabinets and on the floor. They really should quit selling this machine. It is going to damage Cuisnart's good name

The coffee maker itself is fine -- it makes good coffee in a reasonable amount of time. It's esthetically pleasing and looks good in my kitcnen. I thought, though, that refurb would look like new -- it doesn't. When the coffee maker arrived there were stains on the stainless steel outside, and the inside smelled like coffee -- it had obviously been used. This may have been a misunderstanding on my part, but I won't be buying refurb again.
