I drink coffee non-stop because my sensitive teeth got too bad for cold drinks. I needed a coffee maker that could keep up with that demand. This is the most durable and reliable maker I've ever owned and well worth every penny. I love the burner heat adjustment and ability to control how long for the auto-off function to delay. It has every function I wanted! I was paying only slightly less than the price of this maker only to have them quit in a year. This one is still going strong and I've had it well over a year if I remember correctly. Either way, it still brews the best home brewed cup I've found yet!

Very nice coffee maker. Does not have a level indicator on the outside, but does have one in the inside. Overall, makes a very good cup of coffee.

53 year old man, live in a town with hard well water. Love that the filter in the coffee maker lets the coffee's taste come through unfettered. Useful features like self-cleaning, timer settings, easy to clean daily, easy pour carafe.

I've been a coffee drinker since I was 14 years old so over the years I've grown to appreciate a really good cup of coffee. I've had my DCC-1200 for about three weeks now and I don't know if I could get a better cup of coffee than I am now. With the adjustable hot plate temperature feature I don't worry about burnt coffee and with the Gold tone filter you will brew a quality cup of coffee time after time. I highly recommend this product. I think you will be more than happy with your choice.

This is an excellent coffee maker. The coffee tastes wonderful. We chose this style to match our kitchen which is stainless and white. Great Buy!

I make 12 cups at a time--but this coffee maker is not made for that. It only accepts one tablespoon of coffee for each cup--and 12-14 tablespoons of coffee not only DON'T make 12 good cups of coffee in this model (too weak) but clog up the works every time. And, you can't add more coffee because it would clog up the works more.It's fine with less cups of coffee each time, but if you are making coffee for a crowd, as I am, this model is unsatisfactory because of the manufacturer's stated insistence on one tablespoon for each cup, and the model's inherent weakness built on that for larger needs. For my taste (and my family and friends, anyway)--one level tablespoon per cup is just not enough--tastes like dishwater--and we can't add more because it clogs this model up.So, I wind up having to go through the brewing process twice--what a drag!

I bought this coffeemaker about a month ago after going through numerous coffeemakers. I figured I'd try a better brand and spend a little more. So far it is working well and makes excellent coffee. The pot seems sturdy and doesn't leak when you pour coffee. The coffee also stays quite warm and has a knob for 3 different heat plate settings for those that like their coffee hotter or cooler. I hope it continues to provide good coffee for a long time to come.

Nice looking coffee maker, so far no problems. Easy to set up and program. It is in a weekend rental, I bought Cuisinart products for this rental because they are nice looking, easy to use and have Brand recognition.

except for the design problem of not being able to see how much water you put in without peering over the top into the machine, we are quite pleased. An outside visual gauge would have been nice.
