This is a great value. It came in the box and looks new. Note that the gold filter is not included.

This coffee maker gives you as good as cup of coffee as the coffee you use.I've had mine almost three years, and it's still going strong. How many other coffee makers have you owned that you can say the same about? I even purchased another six months after the first one for a back-up, as I'd never had another coffee maker last more than a year, some costing over twice as much.Ya want a good cup of coffee ? Buy this one and be confident in your purchase. All pluses.... no cons.

Works great- good coffee . Love the glass carafe verse's the metal pot. Also the temp. control for keeping the coffee warm is very nice. The best buy I've made in years.

Some nice features, some not so nice. Nice features: easy to use controls, tight fitting carafe and no-nonsense fit. The machine turns off after a pre-determined time which you control, so you are assured of not drinking over-cooked coffee. Not so nice features: its darn difficult to add water to the machine; the opening is quite small and placed high. I stand 5'7" and it is really difficult for me to fill the unit with water without some spill on my kitchen counters. In addition, the internal water level indicator is almost impossible to see unless I stand on my tippy toes. The machine looks good on the counter-top though. I am recommending the product primarily because the machine is well built and the great price Overstock has on this unit.

Fantastic! The coffee maker looked new and arrived well packaged with instructions and waranty information. Several coffee filters were included to get started. The product operates like a charm and makes wonderful coffee.

I am so disappointed with my purchase...and for the first time with Overstock.com. I ordered this product after reading the description of what refurbished means and reading happy reviews of other customers who had bought refurbished items. I thought I made a good decision considering the savings, the brand name and my otherwise happy customer experience with O. However, today I received the coffee pot, ready and excited to brew my first pot, only to find it missing the gold filter basket described in the product details, the machine filthy, with sticky stuff on one side and the burner plate obviously worn WITH burned coffee residue still present. To add insult to injury I'm sure I'll have to pay to send it back. So buyer beware on the refurbished items, I won't make that mistake again.

I was slightly concerned about buying refurbished, but trusted the brand. My family loves this pot! We have been using it a couple of years since the purchase and it is still like new. Still brewing a cup a minute. A very satisfying purchase.

I was hesitant to purchase this product because it was a used product that had been refurbished. I have now had it for 1 1/2 years and it has worked perfectly every morning. I would definitely buy it again. It was about half of what a new Cuisinart would have cost, but it works as if it were new.

I have used this coffee maker for quite a while and still very satisfied. It is probably one of the better ones I have owned and would probably buy another should it need to be replaced for whatever reason (unless it starts a fire!) I am too cheap to justify buying the special filters and just use the generic coffee filters and it works fine.

I absolutely love this coffee maker. I love the ease of programming and the self cleaning feature that tells you when the maker needs to be cleaned. It also doesn't take up a huge amount of space. Its great to have this programmed for the morning and to not have to deal with making coffee in the morning. The shut off feature is also great! Love this product.

I always hesitate when ordering refurbished but haven't gone wrong with Overstock yet. This has been an excellent coffee maker and when this was stops, i'll buy another. Love that I can program my coffee to be ready when I get up in the morning. I also like that I can program it to stay on longer (I drink coffee all day)

It lasted about 6 months then stopped brewing. I had to replace it with a machine far less expensive. I have to be honest and say I felt ripped off. I was expecting the name alone would serve me a long time. It didn't.

This is a great coffee maker. All the functions work, and it makes great tasting coffee. It is also the coffee machine that I use when I demo Equal Exchange Coffees in various stores.

I looked a long time for a new coffee pot -- purchased this one primarily because I: (a) wanted one that would make piping hot coffee, and (b) wanted to try one with a water filter since we have a lot of calcium in our water. While I like the coffee pot, it's really no better than the free one that came from Gevalia, but it is better than others I've had in that it can make HOT coffee. I can't say that I notice any difference from the filter, but then since our water always tastes fine, I'm not surprised. (I'm hoping the filter protects the insides of the coffee pot from calcium.) Pros: fine coffee, and I sort of like the polite little beep it gives you when it's done brewing and also when it's turning itself off. I also purchased the refurbished unit and it arrived in new condition. Cons: You better know from the markings on the carafe how much water you're pouring in, because the water guide/meter on the coffee maker itself is worthless -- it's INSIDE and not only is it difficult to see without a strong, direct light (or flashlight!) as you peer way in, you can't even see the markings until the 6 cup point, and even that's hard to see - 8 is easier. I make 4 cups at a time so never use the gauge on the coffee maker. I can't imagine why they don't have the gauge on the outside like every other coffee maker on the planet. It also takes about 25% more coffee to brew the same strength as other coffee makers. Overall, I would say it is an average coffee maker. No big complaints, no wows either.

Makes great strong coffee with the 1-4 cup setting! Love the glass carafe so you can see how much is left in the pot. All funtions are easy to use and clearly marked. So far, it's the best coffee maker I've had in 10 years. This coffee pot came with it's own gold mesh filter so no need to purchase extra. I had to find that out once it got here!

This coffee maker is great! It makes my old one look like trash. Also, to zeanimal saying that the coffee maker ruined his counter tops you must have some very cheap counters as even if mine did leak it would not ruin my granite counters.

I read all the reviews before I ordered this item. I have to say that I can't tell it was refurbished at all. I was also surprised to see that it came with the gold mesh filter and a coffee scoop. It works well and makes good coffee. I would give it 5 stars, but I gave it 4 because of one small issue. The condensation that builds up on the inside of the lid tends to drip down the back of the coffee maker when you open it. Not a real big deal - but seems to be a design flaw to me. For the price - great deal!

Coffee maker works well, but has a broken right hinge on the top cover. Still, if it continues to work well with one broken hinge it may be a good purchase. The product looks like new otherwise and includes a "gold" permanent filter and charcoal water filter. Shipping was very quick. Doesn't seem to be worth the hassle of shipping back to Overstock.com as a return since it does work and is not leaking. Another concern is that for the 90 day warranty Cuisinart wants $10 to be included to insure accuracy and speed of warranty repair.

This is my third of these coffeemakers; the other two I bought retail and adored. However, the one I bought from Overstock-- possibly because it was refurbished?-- began to leak all over the counter within a month of purchase. I lived with it for a couple of months but it began to leak more and ruin the counters, so I just bought another one at ***** on sale. Folks, spring the extra $20 and save your countertops.... this is a GREAT coffeemaker... just not refurbished.

Great coffee maker, great coffee, comes with excellent gold filter, coffee stays hot, never burned, shut off feature terrific - turns off just when I lose interest in another cup of coffee. And, a great deal on the refurbished machine.
