This cookware set was affordable and is built to last. Thick metal and solid construction gives it a sturdiness to use for years. I am putting up a pot rack to show off the bright stainless steel finish in the kitchen. I'm very happy with this purchase.
This is a really good cookware set... The only reason it didn't get all 5 stars is because this set isn't really good for our Sunday morning steak and egg breakfasts. On the first time out I burned my frying pan while searing my steaks and the eggs would not come out clean no matter how much oil or non stick spray you use. But everything else was great! The steamer is my new best friend. I would deffinitly recomend this set, just keep a non-stick griddle on hand for the breakfast stuff!
My set of Cuisinart Chef's Classic 14-piece cookware set arrived right on time. The set is more than I expected; the cookware is heavy and cooks food uniformily, with no hot spots. The pots and pans have been easy to clean. Now, I am proud to display my cookware while cooking for family and friends; not embrassed! I would recommend the set to friends as it is a very good buy.
These came out of the box VERY shiny. I was so excited to use them. The first time that I put anything in them though, they lost their luster. But... they do cook very well; and its the perfect amount of pots and pans for my family of 3 that I do the cooking for (I would definatly have plenty for a much larger family too). They are NOT non-stick, so if that's what you are looking for, don't get these. But if you are looking for quality for a good price, you've found your match. Food does leave luster stains on the inside of the pans but with a little soap and water soak and a little scrubbing, these pots and pans are fairly easy to clean. I would recommend getting a non-stick skillet to cook eggs and other stuff that sticks easily. Overall though, I love them!
The Cuisinart stainless steel cookware is awesome and came with a great price tag from Overstock.com! The pieces in the set are the ones I use the most and are of excellent quality. A set like this should last for many years.
