Quit after 14months - no customer support
Had the unit for 14 months. It quit working. Looked up some bogs on the web and found this to be a common problem. Asked Cuisinart for replacement board and I would fix myself. I was told there is no warranty and sorry, but need to buy a new one and throw yours away. Some support. Will never buy anything Cuisinart again.

Compressor failure
I have owned two of these units. I really loved it while it worked. Unfortunately the first one only last 6 months when the compressor stopped working. I notified Cuisinart who was very gracious and replaced the unit immediately with no questions asked. However, the one they sent to replace it suffered the same fate, the compressor, stopoped working after 2 years of the 3 year warrenty. Cusinart has chosen not to replace this unit for me so I am now in search of a new unit to fit the space I customized for it. It will not be a Cusinart.

Great little unit
The unit arrived just fine and packaging was intact (which has been a complaint about this unit and other units in past reviews I've read on this and other sites). It's a nice, compact unit that fits easily on a countertop. It was easy to set up. I don't think it is too loud, which has been the opinion of some. It was a gift for my husband, who is starting to get more into wines. As a 6 bottle unit, it is the perfect place to start for the beginning wine enthusiast.
