It's convenient for single use shakes which is why we invested in the product again. We received it and the box says REFURBISHED. I don't mind it being refurbished, but I guess I didn't read the details. Overstock should probably put that in the product's title and not in the tiny font details.

Great, powerful product My wife uses this every morning to make shakes, and it crushes ice and has lots of power. The travel cups are fantastic, especially since there are several of them so I can leave them in the dishwasher and not have to hurry up. Only con is that the cups would be great if they were a bit larger, and if they have a closable lid instead of the open hole. Spillproof woudl be better. But overall a fantastic product and the price is excellent.
