I'm a beginner in juicing so I wanted something to get me started, that would not take too much space and wasn't a drag to use. This product accomplishes everything. It is pretty small but does a great job making juices. The container is a bit small - I need to stop it in the middle and pour the juice into a different container before completing the operation. This is a small price to pay. Cleanup is not overly complex - when finished, I need to take it apart in clean each part separately but it is easy to clean and doesn't take much to put back together. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. This one is a refurbished juicer, I've had it for a few weeks and haven't had any problems.
As usual Cuisinart makes a good quality product. I shopped several juicers after watching FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD. I wasn't sure if I would want to continue juicing in the long term so I wanted something that would be less expensive but still be able to perform the task. This juicer fit the bill as it is solid, the perfect size, very easy to clean and is quiet. It is much smaller than all the other juicers I have found. It can sit on your counter under the cupboards with no problem. I was hopeful with the Cuisinart name that it would work and I knew that it wasn't going to be top of the line due to its price tag. It is not very good at juicing leafy greens, the pulp stays very wet. I can run it through a couple of times and, although it helps a little, there is quite a bit of waste. There are other uses for the pulp, if you are not strictly juicing. I have been taking the pulp and making soup and muffins for my family. It juices fruits very well and veg...well with some waste. Overall this is an nice compact juicer that works for it's intended purpose. I think it more suited for the non-serious juicers, not the every day juicer.
