I purchased this set mainly because I needed a new can opener, & I'm sick of constantly buying the cheap ones at the grocery store that only break after a few months of use. I decided to purchase this set, because the other reviewers claimed that it was a sturdy set that would last a long time, and I did appreciate the extra kitchens tools. The set IS really sturdy, just like the other reviewers said...but the problem I have with this set is that the handles are really big/thick. And yes, it does make the set more robust...but it's also a big pain if you plan to store these items in a drawer, or put them in a utensil basket in the dishwasher. That's the main reason why I'm only giving this set 4 stars, instead of 5. I do feel it's a nice set, but really not convenient for storage or dishwasher capacity. They just take up too much room, because of that handles! The can opener seems alright, & a set up from what I've purchased in the past. It might last a little longer, which is what I'd hoped for. All in all, I do like the set, but I think that the handles being so large is impractical, & that's really my only complaint about the set. Otherwise, it's a good deal.

usually cuisinart product is good, but this particular one is horrible. it feels like a toy.

THE HANDLES ON THIS GADGET SET MAKE IT EASY TO GRIP AND HOLD, NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU ARE COOKING/BAKING OR IF YOUR HANDS ARE WET. IT IS A REALLY NICE SET.

Very sturdy and durable equipment. Looks and works great.
