None of the pieces arrived broken. Nice size plates with weight. The only thing I'm a little disappointed about is the color. It's not that deep color red as shown; it's more of a orange-red combination color. I would still recommend them to a friend though. I'm going to purchase another set.

These dishes are as beautiful as they are in the picture. The quality is excellent and can be used for casual or formal dining.

I THINK THE SECOND SET IS RICH, CLASSIC, AND INVITING. MY GUEST HAD ONLY POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT MY NEW SET. I SIMPLY ADORE THE COLOR, DESIGN, PATTERN, AND LOOK. I HAVE NOT HAD THEM LONG ENOUGH TO GIVE THE SET A FIVE STAR RATING. HOWEVER, I AM QUITE PLEASED WITH THE SET. I REALLY HATE THAT I HAD TO PUT THEM AWAY OR OUT OF SITE AND IN THE CUPBOARD. THEY ARE MUCH TOO RICH AND CLASSY TO BE HIDDEN OR OUT OF SITE.

The plates and bowls are great. The red is a nice color. They are heavy and durable.

I ordered these dishes for a wedding gift. The kitchen colors were red and I though these would be perfect. They were!

I've been looking for some square dinnerware that wasn't asian influenced and these were perfect. The plates are actually quite large and substantial. Everyone loved them at my last dinner party. I would definitely recommend them as they're a good value for the money.

I saw the exact same set in a department store for $179 the same week I ordered this set. When I recieved this set I even had the price of the same department store on it. I am so lucky I saved over a $100 per set - I ordered 2 sets! The quality is excellent and they are great in the dishwasher. I get so many compliments they are fabulous - wish I bought a couple of more.

it looks better in person than on internet,I loved it and so did my daughter,at first when she saw it on the internet she said it was ugly, when it arrived, i opened it quickly, she took one look and said, Mom its beautiful,where did you get it. Iam very pleased! THANK-YOU

BOUGHT FOR A GIFT.........HAD TO BUY FOR MYSELF! TOO!! BEAUTIFUL, GREAT DESIGN, VERY GOOD VALUE, LARGE GOOD SIZE PIECES, SEEM TO BE VERY DURABLE. A MUST IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING CONTEMPORARY, AND RED.......WORKS WELL WITH MY OTHER TRADITIONAL DISHES. WISH I COULD BUY ALL THE SERVING PIECES.............

I bought this item for a gift, I was disappointed with the color, as it was not a true red color. It is very nice other than the color. I hope my daughter-in-law likes it! As she has just redone her kitchen and dinning area in red,and wanted a new red dinnerware set to go with the new look.

I purchased these dishes for my daughter as a house warming gift, they arrived poorly packaged and were all broken, she was so dissappointed, I was out of town, so I emailed overstock and live chatted with a representative who was super helpful, he arrainged for the return tag to be sent to her and the replacedments were on the way within hours! It was a great customer service experience and she loves the dishes!
