This Cuisinart Cutting Board is an absolute "MUST HAVE" for dinner, parties, informal and formal gatherings. AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ITEM!!!! The description should be changed to Cuisinart Cutting Board and Serving Tray Extraordinaire. This is an exquisite multi-functional item which can be used as a cutting board for meats, vegetables, etc.; however, I purchased two and used one at a recent "Friends, Wine, and Cheese" gathering and it served as the "Perfect" serving tray for some of the cheeses and cocktail bread that required slicing.This cutting board/serving tray eliminated the hassle of slicing on one board and transfering the foods to another serving tray. By placing a small serrated knife on the board, it gave my guest the option of cutting the food into smaller portions if they so desired.This is not some cheapy run of the mill cutting board. Cuisinart designed this "QUALITY" heavy duty solid wood board with two stainless steel handles (handles on each side) and a stainless steel trim which is perfect for a casual dinner and classy enough for a nice cocktail party or formal gathering.Very easy clean up. I wipe mine clean by using a sponge with a non-abrasive antibacterial dishwater detergent and spritz on a little kitchen antibacterial cleaner.
