This set was a Christmas gift for our son. The set is his first, and he is delighted by what he was able to get for. It's a very good starter set.

The knife set was true to the description. The color is a beautiful cherry wood and the knives are SHARP! I actually cut off a piece of my finger the first time I used the big knife. All is well now... No permanent damage. I guess I'm just not used to real knives - he he.

Very nice set of knives. Sharp. Not very heavy either like most high quality knives.
