  • Looks great, firebox is too small

    I bought this and it came on time as described. I really like the look of it, the only problem, and it is significant, is that the fire box is too small to hold enough wood to generate any considerable heat -- so as a visual piece it looks really really nice, but since it is small, you can only fit one or two 6"-10" logs in it, and you'll find yourself adding fuel to the fire constantly to keep it running. I think it was 50% larger, it would be perfect.

  • Great addition to our lanai

    This is an attractive chimenea that offers unusual clean lines and a sculptural quality to our lanai. Of course, as our lanai is covered and screened, one should never light a log or raging fire in a semi enclosed space. So instead we burn gel fuel or candles for a charming glow. The chimenea is metal, so I'm not convinced it would survive full outdoor exposure. So if you use it in your yard, you may want to bring it inside when not in use. As others have noted it is just a bit shorter than ideal - but the measurements on the description are accurate. The chimenea could have been that much more amazing if 12-18 inches taller. But we love it. It's unique. Few people would even think it was so well priced.

  • A little small, but a very cool design

    This chiminea has a really cool design. I would like it to be just a bit larger, but I have a small townhouse yard. It would be pretty small for a full-size back yard. Nonetheless, it's a heavy-duty piece of work that fits my need. It did get a minor ding in shipping, but it's hardly noticeable.
