The first delivery arrived damaged. The base of the lamp was broken. I felt the packaging was very poor and in an oversized box which I'm sure contributed to the damage. The second delivery arrived in better condition. The lamp is very attractive and I am pleased with it. But... I feel the shade is not well made and I may replace the shade.
