Customer Reviews
beautiful product. difficult to assemble--many pieces. does not have a plug, so must be wired in.
It took me about 3 hrs to get this all assembled and it was quite difficult because of the poor instructions. Finally through some squinting at the drawings (very bad quality) for assembly and some guess work, it all came together eventually. One word of caution -- don't use the tool they sent to unscrew the srews when you're assembling this thing. For one thing, they were so tight and teh tool so low quality, it ended up stripping the TOOL! I ended up using my own sturdier tools for the assembly. It does look very nice when all assembled and I love the crystal drops! they feel really nice and not cheap like what I thought they would be. Overall, am very happy and look forward to hanging this either in my dining room (small condo dining room) or in one of my bathrooms.
I began to assemble this chandelier for one project, but got psyched out before it was finished. Finally, I decided to install in my new house and just tough it out. Started assembly in the early afternoon and by 8pm was still not quite finished. It is beautiful and unique, however, very difficult to assemble. Mine came with no instructions for hanging the crystals, so together with a few friends we did our best to make sense of the diagram. Came online today to look again at the photograph and see that I need to go back to the drawing board again! The wires also bend and move making it so that I needed to realign the crystal laced arms as I go. The wire rings look a little odd too and make me wish the crystals were attached with something less visible. I planned to hang this chandelier in a dining room, but think it is better suited to an area where it can be hung higher and is less a major focal point.
The Chandelier is beautiful. It looks exactly like the picture. It was packaged very well and was not difficult to assemble.
I too got the box (quickly!) knowing it was to be assembled - the photos are pretty specific on the website showing "what's in the box" and here is my recommendations to anyone getting this: 1) open everything and sort all the hanging tear-drops by kind. There's a reason for this - it's in the assembly part to make sure you put the right drops in the correct place. 2) Open everything - including the package with screws and nuts because it also has a handy tool to connect the arms inside the top and bottom holder. I found it after I'd put it all together with needle nose plyers and it would've been easier with the tool I'm sure. 3) Don't be tempted to hang the crystal swags from the wire flowers - really look at the instructions as it shows it goes on the wire below them (otherwise it looks weird). 4) If you can hang a light, you can hang this yourself - turn off power from the source of course. It wasn't hard to put together - it was fairly simple. I printed out a photo when it didn't look right and figured out that I hadn't followed the illustrations like I should have. Mine is in my master bath over the tub and it's GORGEOUS. My friends are getting them too now.Hope this helps someone in the future. :)
