I too got the box (quickly!) knowing it was to be assembled - the photos are pretty specific on the website showing "what's in the box" and here is my recommendations to anyone getting this: 1) open everything and sort all the hanging tear-drops by kind. There's a reason for this - it's in the assembly part to make sure you put the right drops in the correct place. 2) Open everything - including the package with screws and nuts because it also has a handy tool to connect the arms inside the top and bottom holder. I found it after I'd put it all together with needle nose plyers and it would've been easier with the tool I'm sure. 3) Don't be tempted to hang the crystal swags from the wire flowers - really look at the instructions as it shows it goes on the wire below them (otherwise it looks weird). 4) If you can hang a light, you can hang this yourself - turn off power from the source of course. It wasn't hard to put together - it was fairly simple. I printed out a photo when it didn't look right and figured out that I hadn't followed the illustrations like I should have. Mine is in my master bath over the tub and it's GORGEOUS. My friends are getting them too now.Hope this helps someone in the future. :)
The photo does not do this chandelier justice. The amber crystals are AMAZING and they give you extras in case of accident. I used a swag kit from my local hardware store to convert the chandelier from hard wired to a swag fixture. I added a plug-in dimmer switch so that we can control the level of light. I bought and use two of them over my nightstands in my bedroom in lieu of lamps. They look classic and elegant - beautiful sparkle. The directions for placement of hanging the crystals are not that great - referring to the photo will help. Don't hesitate - you will love this chandelier!!
Item#: 11348441 Crytal 3 light chandelier was a nightmare to put together and looks cheap once hung. The beads on the "fishing string" kept breaking and I had to restring them! The little flowers where you hook the jewels are wired to the beads but were wired too low for the jewels to hang correctly so I had to unwire (wire was too short to put back so had to go buy wire) and rewire. The hooks to hang the jewels were too hard to separate enough to hook on without sticking into your fingernails and bending them backwards...so, the hooks separate and do not go back together. After 5 hours of putting together, it was not worth it. I had to have it for the builder to hang so I decided to keep working on it hoping it would be worth it. NOT! This light looks cheap! Very Disappointed.
This chandelier was part of my master suite update. This piece is beautiful. I didn't think I would be able to afford a piece like this, but with the price I had to try it. I am glad I did. It was time consuming to hang all the crystals and the instructions were not much help, but I was able to figure it out and it was well worth the time it took to put it together. I would highly recommend this chandelier. I Love It.
I LOVE this chandelier and am so pleased with it now that it's hung! I like the versatility of having an option to use it with or without the fabric shades (which are a beautiful quality). My only "issue" is that the photo of the chandelier online makes it difficult to decipher WHERE all of the crystals were to be positioned. The line drawing that was provided to help with assembly was somewhat inaccurate and incomplete. It wasn't "difficult" to assemble - just took some time.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Representation of the color as pictured is very accurate to that of the actual product. When it arrived, the coloring was exactly as I had expected!
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the product is awesome. All of the "crystal" drops are actually glass - the only "plastic portion" is the little rosettes that appear horizontally above the chunky drops.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? On site description was very accurate. No complaints regarding the description.
I purchased this for my power room. It is very tedious to put together. A few of the glass balls were broken even though they were wrapped very well. The arm of the fixture were crooked and cannot be bent out to fix. I kept it but not very happy with the piece.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. good

I am very pleased overall. It adds a warm elegance to my library/office room.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color on the site actually looks more red than the actual product. In reallife its actually more brown but still looks nice.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good, just don't drop any pieces they are glass and will break.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? It was very accurate except the color is a little off on the site.
this is the jewelry in my bathroom ( my best friend invested her time to preparing it and installed for me ) sometimes I turn the light in the bathroom just to admire it

This chandelier is perfect in my bedroom in the center of a swag canopy. The lighting is perfect for the room; not too bright or dark. The crystals are mesmerizing and add a great ambiance to the lair. There were no instructions on the connection of the light at all. Also, the included hardware was not usable. It was installed by a professional who knew what he was doing so this was not a big deal in my situation, however, it's mentioned for those of you who will try on your own. There was a guess on which was the neutral wire; turns out it was the smooth wire. Just some insight for those of you amateur electricians contemplating contacting your local qualified electricians. ;) The instructions for hanging the crystals were also a little lacking, but with a little forensic work with a printed color copy along with the one page instruction, I was finally able to figure it out. That said, now that it's installed, it's gorgeous! Everyone who sees it loves and comments on it. Also, the price and shipping is a steal. If you're looking for sultry ambiance, this is the chandelier for you!
The chandelier is beautiful and a bargain for the price. It was very confusing putting it together but after an hour it was done. My husband loves it and we would buy more if we needed it.
My chandelier came already assembled and the only thing I did was to dress it. In contrast to the other reviewers, it was not hard to dress the chandelier. The instructions were pretty simple. This chandelier is pretty nice for the money.
Product is beautiful overall but comes with little to no instructions to go by. Had to hire an electrician to hang it only to find out that when putting it together a major piece was missing. Had to stop the installation and wait for the missing parts department to call me back. Quite frustrating overall
beautiful product. difficult to assemble--many pieces. does not have a plug, so must be wired in.
It took me about 3 hrs to get this all assembled and it was quite difficult because of the poor instructions. Finally through some squinting at the drawings (very bad quality) for assembly and some guess work, it all came together eventually. One word of caution -- don't use the tool they sent to unscrew the srews when you're assembling this thing. For one thing, they were so tight and teh tool so low quality, it ended up stripping the TOOL! I ended up using my own sturdier tools for the assembly. It does look very nice when all assembled and I love the crystal drops! they feel really nice and not cheap like what I thought they would be. Overall, am very happy and look forward to hanging this either in my dining room (small condo dining room) or in one of my bathrooms.
I began to assemble this chandelier for one project, but got psyched out before it was finished. Finally, I decided to install in my new house and just tough it out. Started assembly in the early afternoon and by 8pm was still not quite finished. It is beautiful and unique, however, very difficult to assemble. Mine came with no instructions for hanging the crystals, so together with a few friends we did our best to make sense of the diagram. Came online today to look again at the photograph and see that I need to go back to the drawing board again! The wires also bend and move making it so that I needed to realign the crystal laced arms as I go. The wire rings look a little odd too and make me wish the crystals were attached with something less visible. I planned to hang this chandelier in a dining room, but think it is better suited to an area where it can be hung higher and is less a major focal point.
The Chandelier is beautiful. It looks exactly like the picture. It was packaged very well and was not difficult to assemble.
Love this light. We placed it in a half-bath we are remodeling. It hangs over an antique table and looks very "period". My husband put it together but it took about 3 hours - it was well worth it. It looks much more expensive than its price. My husband was skeptical when I purchased it but now he agrees with me that this is a wonderful light!
Very beautiful and classy chandelier. I love it. Very prompt delivery, and the item was wonderfully packaged. I did not assembled it yet, but agree, it supposed to be assembled by specialist.
I bought this for our master bedroom, and had to return becasue it was very feminine, my husband didnt see this as a compromise. Its pretty but not the sophisticated look I was going for in our contemporary master bedroom.
I have purchased many chandeliers but I never recieved one where you had to put it together from scratch. Nothing was assembled. The arms had to be assembled onto the major rod holding up the chandelier. You had to run the wire into the rod and do all your own wiring. I started in the early afternoon and didn
