These reviews and the picture still does not do this one justice!! I used this beautiful piece of art work better known as a quilt in a client's bedroom. The price almost scared me off!! Breath taking is all I can say. Part of the stitching is done with a machine, alot of it by hand and some beautiful knots by hand are used in the florals. The background is a creamy color and stitching is close to a taupe. It is sooo beautiful. I ordered this along with 660 thread count taupe sheets from here all for under $100.00!! Together these products reaked of quality and elegance....They matched perfectly and my client is extremely happy. I rushed back and ordered 3 more for gifts. Of course I kept one! I love this so, that I am sending one to a friend that lives in Greece. I have been happy with purchase's made from overstock through out the years however never as happy as I was with this quilt for that price!! As a decorator this is my prized find for this year....Overstock you out did yourself on this one....

Obviously, no one has looked CLOSELY at the quilt.. It is absolutely GORGEOUS...The colors are true to the photograph. Very neutral color makes this a versatile quilt for nearly any decor. I thought it was a good bargain when I saw it on Overstock. When it arrived I KNEW it was a GREAT BARGAIN...The quilt will be used in a client's bedroom that is filled with antique farmhouse furnishings. This quilt will be a wonderful addition. THANKS OVERSTOCK....The quilt IS a work of art and well worth the price many times over.

I purchased this quilt last year and I know for a fact that this same quit is in the Williamsburg Folk Art Center. Don't miss out for this quilt ! Even if you have to wait for it! Lcreme2093

Its a very nice quilt, but very small, my only worry is that its dry clean only. Haven't used it long enough to know if it will hold up, hopefuly it will.

I purchased this quilt set for my grandmother-in-law who has fine, but simple tastes in decor. She loves this ensemble! I was very impressed with the detail and workmanship--it truly does look like an heirloom. I ordered a full-size quilt for her twin-size bed and was glad I did. The drop along the sides does not require a bed skirt, and she has a footboard to hide the end of the bed. I'd use a bedskirt to finish the look, but she is completely satisfied with the end result. What a great buy!

I received this a couple of days ago and washed it and put it on a bed in my spare bedroom. The quality of this quilt is quite good. You can tell it is machine stitched and mostly machine embroidered, but it is done very well and the knots look hand-knotted.It seems to be a bit small for a Queen bed with a pillow-top mattress, if you have a deep mattress you might want to go for a King to make sure it's large enough to cover the sides well. But overall, I am very pleased with this quilt.

This quilt is pretty (though the colors are very muted and a bit bland), it was good quality for the money. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the quilt, though. The size was supposed to be king (104x860, but it is not large enough to use as a bedspread, even for a queen-sized bed, although it would be okay to use just as a covering. We have it on a full-size bed now (a tall full bed with a 21-inch drop on the bedskirt), and it comes down to cover the box springs, which is good.

What else can be said about this quilt! I purchased this quilt strictly going by shoppers reviews and the love of cross stitch. Exquisite, breath taking, beautiful, well made, great value, colors that will go with anything. Plan to put throws at the foot of bed. Buy it even if you don't need a quilt right now. Won't be sorry!

Beautiful quilt of heirloom quality. The value is excellent I got the quilt and shams for what I would have expected to pay for one sham. The description on Overstock is taken straight from the package..it should be noted that it does not say that the quilt is white on white but rather it was ADAPTED from the Folk Art Museum white on white design. It is a beautiful antique cream with bronze flowers patterned after the needle work craft of candlewicking. I think it is important to also note that it is dry clean only. I have it on a antique pineapple bed and it is very beautiful and expensive looking.

I really didn't need another comforter, but after reading the reviews, I decided I should give it a try. Well worth the money! I love this comforter! The natural color will go with anything. I did get the king size for my queen bed and glad I did.

I decided to purchase this quilt for two reasons; I am an avid cross stitcher and I love antiques. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this quilt. It is an excellent addition to my spare bedroom.

There are many other great reviews on this quilt set...and they are accurate....so I'll keep it brief. The beauty and quality of this set is outstanding. I'm a true bargain shopper and if I had found this set at a local retailer for triple this price I would have jumped on it!!!! The cotton is soft & luxurious, the embroidery/cross-stitch (both hand and machine) is exceptional. The picture can not do it justice. If you are even slightly interested in this set I suggest you order it now! You will not be disappointed...and I'm sure they can't last much longer.

I had a hard time believing the reviews for this quilt---as I thought it looked plain and actually a little ugly in the picture.I decided to take a chance and order it anyway----WELL!It is actually very nice-----simple,but very pretty.I really do like it a lot and wanted to let everyone know that the picture does not begin to do it justice.It is MUCH better looking than the picture suggests .It is very nice and warm!I am glad I decided to take a chance on this one!

I'm in the Army, and I end up moving around a lot. It's nice because it gives me the opportunity to redecorate every few years. I really liked this quilt because the neutral coloring will go well with a large variety of color schemes, and is something I can see using for many, many years (and moves) to come. Right now I use it at the foot of my bed across my flannel duvet, it helps keep my toes toasty, and adds a distinct touch of class to my room. It's easy to accessorize with a variety of pillow shams (in addition to the 2 included with the quilt), because it won't clash with anything.

I was looking for a quilt set for quite a while with specific colors in mind. FINALLY, I came across this one at Overstock. The colors are true to the description and is exactly what I was looking for. Although it was alittle pricey for a twin size, I'm still glad I ordered it and very happy with the quality.

Beautiful quilt, off-white/taupe in color, lots of machine and hand-stitching in shades of brown, beige and taupe. Comes with two standard-size shams that are beautiful too. Like another reviewer I bought the king size for my queen bed and it gives a nice overhang on the end of the bed. Has a small brown stain on the underside but no one will see it. This will be my summer quilt as it is thinner and I can't wait to use it. This quilt set will go with just about any style and decor.

Before buying I read all the reviews. They all stand true; it is beautiful, a wonderful price, great quality, runs alittle small, colors are a little stronger in person. I would recommend this product to any one who is looking for a quilt to give their room a timeless look. I purchased a king size for my queen and it is the right size with giving some hang to the sides. You really can't go wrong with this one.

Don't let the title fool you ... there is cross stitch in this quilt, but the main pattern is made of tight satin stitches ... the resultant quilt is beautiful from a distance and richly spectacular close up. The actual quilt has a pleasant thickness and the cotton has a fine weave. I am making my quilt into a Roman shade for my picture window. The pattern is one which will be rich even when folded into a shade, and a feast for the eyes at night when the shade is drawn. The two pillow shams are a bonus as they are standard sized and can be used as complimentary pillows on my couch if desired. There is a possibility I will make one into a cushion for my rocker, but I'm not sure yet. This quilt would also look spectacular with rings attached to the top of it and used as a curtain for a sliding glass door. It makes a statement but can also blend into the room. If my house were bigger I'd order another one to use in the bedroom ... I love it that much. Thank you Overstock, this quilt is fantastic!
