This mattress pad is exactly what we were looking for. I wanted a mattress pad that would not "shift". This one hugs the mattress and stays put just as the description says. It is a great value - it's the same one you find at the department stores, but less expensive. Love it.
The mattress pad is of good quality and I like the elastic sides. It was a tad bit on the small side for my new Queen Simmons mattress, but was able to get it on. It stays in place and is comfortable.
We purchased this mattress pad for our new Memory foam mattress, which came with an attached pillow top. We wanted a bit more protection for the pillow top than a sheet alone could provide. This mattress pad fit perfectly, with a nice smooth edge all around the mattress. It also had deep pockets to fit our 14 mattress.
