The major problem with these placemats is that they are not 13" x 18". I ordered them to layer underneath another placemat and I needed them to be the correct size. They were actually more like 12"x 16". Also, they had black and white marks all over them. The marks could not be cleaned off and were like scratches on the actual mat. I ordered the silver mat and the good thing was the color was just as pictured and would have been perfect other than the size and the defects.
