  • a little more work than expected

I did have to drill holes into one side of the bed rails because there was no place to attach to the bed frame.

  • Damaged in transit

The crib matched the bedroom set perfectly and was not that difficult to assemble. The major issue was that it was damaged in transport in three different places. Fortunately, all three spots are in areas that are either covered or not in view. Regardless, I do not expect to pay *** for damaged goods. Since we had purchased the crib far in advance of setting up the room, it stayed in the box for a few months. By the time I was aware of the damage, I didn't' want to fight the "return battle" so we just kept it. Like I said, it looks great minus the damage. It appears to be sturdy and suitable for use, the damage is more aesthetics than structural.

I went back and forth on this crib for months. I finally committed to it (look for that extra 10% that comes from time to time), and I am so happy I did! It is gorgeous and seems like great quality that will last throughout all of the conversions, especially for the price. It took a few hours for my partner to assemble. I would recommend to have pieces VERY organized from the get go...the instructions tend to lack detail/labels.

  • Beautiful, sturdy crib; arrived damaged

We purchased this crib prior to the arrival of our first child. It is definitely a very heavy package (it came as multiple boxes), but even 6-7 months pregnant, I was able to haul it all upstairs and build it myself while my husband was at work (note- I tend to bea very handy, do-it-yourself kind of person). Our little one is now 3 months old, and this crib has been great. It is very sturdy and well built. My one upset is that it did arrive with a section of the front of the crib broken off. I ended up using wood glue and clamps to reposition it back into place, and the seems are hardly noticeable. I was too excited to get a crib into the nursery to bother contacting customer service, and it looks good unless you really inspect the damaged area up close.

Crib is a pure stark WHITE which is what we were looking for our nursery. Some of the assembly was a pain, took about 2-3 hours with 2 people, but not terrible. The wood drawer shows a bit on the bottom sides, but overall this is a great buy.
