I like the sifter--just the type I was looking for. Now the whole grains that I love to use in baking do not get stuck. This sifter allows those grains to sit in the basket, which was what I was looking for. This is a relic type of sifter, but I knew it would work for my needs. It is a bit biger than what I imaged, and not so easy for me to handle because of the largeness of the sifter, but I will live with this. Thanks for having the 'hard-to-find' sifter. If you have any others like this but smaller (maybe 2-4 cups], I'd be interested in possilby purchasing. Thank you!

At last, a BIG flour sifter for the big baker! I don't know why I waited so long to buy a decent flour sifter! This is what I've always needed for all my baking needs---even if I'm sifting a small amount of flour. This is a quality-made item that performs extremely well.
