This table is very nice once assembled. Granted, the instructions for this piece are far more detailed than other furniture we have put together, but they are still vague in some areas. You definitely need two people to put it together. Its a nice addition to our living room.

We purchased this item two years ago and are using it as an entryway table. It looks perfect with our home and furnishings. Table is sturdy and probably better than some of the ones that I have seen in the big name stores or contemporary furnishing stores. I am sure that several years from now I will find it a bit dated - but for the small price tag it surely will have more than paid for itself by then and it could be used for almost anything at that point as it is very sturdy and has storage. The best part about it being solid wood is that it can be refinished and stained or painted. How can you go wrong? (I do hate to give anything a full five stars as anything could be better - but I really can't fault anything about it.)

This is a beautiful piece -- no construction issues and pretty easy to put together. We have a 37" flatscreen and it fits great on this table, the cable box fits on the small shelf, and it is much more elegant than an entertainment center. You can't beat the price, and it looks much more expensive. I highly recommend!!

My husband & I bought this piece almost a year ago now and have been enjoying it every day since! We both really like the dark walnut/cherry finish & the overall clean look. The instructions were a pain to understand, but the finish product makes up for it 100x over! In fact, we like the look of this brand of furniture so much , we purchased the coffee table & two of the in-tables from the same line. MONEY WELL SPENT!

PURCHASED THIS TABLE FOR DISPLAYING PHOTOS AND COLLECTABLES. BEAUTIFUL TABLE, STURDY, FUNCTIONAL, AND FITS IN WITH MOST DECOR. COULD CHANGE OUT THE MODERN LOOKING PULLS FOR A DIFFERENT LOOK; BUT I LIKE IT JUST THE WAY IT IS. HOUSES OUR COIN AND STAMP COLLECTION AS WELL AS A WONDERFUL SURFACE FOR PHOTO FRAMES, CRYSTAL, ETC. THE THREE DRAWERS ARE A PLUS AS WELL, GREAT FOR HOLDING STATIONERY OR OFFICE SUPPLIES.

I just love this table. It is beautiful and the quality of workmanship is apparent. It is very solid and looks much more expensive than it is. The picture left me unsure of what I'd be getting, but I am very glad I took the risk. If I ever get a bigger place I'd love to buy the whole living room coffee and side table set. Assembly does take some effort and time. I did it by myself, but I didn't mind going slow and careful. It would have been much easier to have a second person. Note it is a dark brown stain.

This product would have gotten an overall 5 stars for quality except for the poorly written assembly directions. It was a daunting task to see all the pieces required in this assembly with all the tiny pieces of hardware. And after the about a four hour assembly process, we had a beautiful piece of furniture sitting in our living room. But please be warned: the directions are terrible! They are also almost completely in pictures which were (a) too small and (b) WRONG a couple of times (like where the dowels go, etc.). Thank goodness, we were able to use logic to figure out the correct orientation and location of the screws and dowels after a few tries to get it correctly assembled. Because the directions were so unclear, I had to unassemble and re-assemble several times to get it together correctly. You'd think that Creighton would spend just a little more time on the directions because the final result is excellent. Just be warned.

The quality of this item was better than my expectations, especially since the price was so reasonable. It is sturdy, great brown color and can be used as contemporary or traditional furniture. Putting it together takes someone with a little experience and is easier with at least two people. I am thinking of buying another one.

This is an incredible value. The way the corners are dovetailed is an unexpected touch and appreciated. The drawers take a bit of adjusting to make sure they glide and the assembly did require patience and close attention but the engineering that went into machining the assorted pieces so that they all join so well is pretty remarkable. We're using it as a teevee stand in our bedroom. The only caution I have is that if you're expecting a cherry stain, it's really more of a walnut or pecan stain, not really any reddish cast at all.Happy we purchased and would do so again.

This table is simply stunning. As pointed out in previous reviews, the instructions are flawed in two places, but if you are thoughtful when assembling, you will immediately know that. Two of us put it together, and it didn't take long. I imagine it will be more of a chore if you are working alone, as this piece is very heavy. It looks marvelous in our guest room, where we use it as a tv stand at the end of the bed (we have the matching bed & nightstand as well).

I received this table months ago, but only recently assembled it. The table is beautiful. The color appears darker than it does in the picture, but I think lighting probably accounts for that. My table looks exactly as pictured and is quite sturdy (heavy without wobbles). I did not give it five stars only because we had trouble with one drawer. The center drawer doesn't glide well - I probably won't use it. There are no pre-drilled holes where you add the drawer glides to the drawers so bad screwing on my part may account for the problem, but I really don't know. Overall, great table.

I finished assembling this about 30 minutes ago, and I wanted to point out two specific errors in the instructions, both in step four:
* The dowels to be inserted into the upper-right part [in the drawing] of DIVISION (E) are incorrect. This will be obvious by the fact that they'll go into a hole for the cam bolt. Ignore the instructions and use your common sense: if it's got a space for a cam bolt, a dowel doesn't go there. It is unfortunate that the dowel holes and the cam-bolt holes are the same size: as the night wore on, I mistakenly put dowels in cam-bolt holes with alarming frequency.
* They have you fasten the BOTTOM RAIL (G) upside-down. This is clear from the seemingly impossible instructions to use the Chipboard Screw (4) to fasten the bottom rail to the divisions (E). It will become even clearer in the next step when you attempt to fasten FRONT RAIL (F) and the dowels don't match. Turn the bottom rail upside-down, fasten to the divisions using the dowels and the Chipboard Screws (there isn't a pilot hole for them), and you'll be good to go.
Everything else in the instructions is correct. I didn't have any issues with the hole designations for the drawer slides, as another reviewer remarked. The pictures are somewhat small; pay close attention to how they denote orientation by illustrating various holes and marks, and you'll get things in the right place.
A cordless screwdriver is recommended, especially for the daunting number of cam bolts in step one. You will need a stubby screwdriver or hex wrench to get at some of the cams once you've fastened FIXED SHELF (D).
All in all, a very nice looking piece. It took me 3.5 hours to assemble, and I'm a bit of a slow worker.

I bought this table on sale and got more than my money's worth. It is gorgeous and very solid. However, putting it together was a bear! The directions skip several steps, and other parts are not well-explained. It took me about 6 hours to put it together by myself, and I am used to putting furniture together. Also, the screws for securing the drawer handles were missing, so I had to get my own.

This console is really great. I was a little skeptical when I ordered it. I was afraid it wouldn't look as good in person as it did on my computer screen, but it did. The color is very rich and the drawer pulls give it a clean, modern look. One of the drawers is a little stiff, but that is the only problem I have noticed. As for putting it together, my husband did that, but he said it wasn't too difficult. It does require several hours to get it done right.

I also have the coffee table. Both are great and easy to assemble, the key is to have a cordless drill. They are very high quality and perfect compliment for my other wood furniture. I'm very happy with my purchase.
