For the price this is a pretty nice piece of furniture. I was skeptical of buying this type of item off of the internet without seeing it in person but I am happy that I did. If you like the way the end table looks in the picture than you will like it in person. The picture gives a pretty accurate idea of the color of the wood, which was one of my major concerns. Assembly is very simple and takes about 30 minutes. I gave this item all fives because after visiting a large number of furniture stores I was unable to find anything comparable in style and quality for the price this was offered. Also, the end table looks really good with contemporary/modern furniture and decor. Hope this helps.

I ordered two of these tables and the coffee table. The quality is better than expected and the look is very nice. My wife and I have been looking at tables for some time now to go with our living room furniture. These tables fit perfectly. The color is more walnut than cherry but that is better for us. I used to sell furniture and this set would cost quite a bit more in furniture stores. The wood is of good quality, but you have to be careful with it. The finish is very good though. I used wood glue for the dowel pins. This has the cam locks and with the glue and cams the tables go together and will saty together. So if you enjoy quality at a good price these will work. The drawers are a great feature. Four on the coffee and one on the end. NIce size too.

I like these tables, the color is actually slightly darker and richer than the picture would lead to you believe, but I actually like the real color much better. The handles the table ships with are awful in appearance and feel, however the predrilled holes match that of most cabinet handles you will find at any home improvement store. I replaced the handles and I am now very pleased with this purchase. The overall quality is very good and significantly better than the average ready to assemble furniture you will buy.

This table looks great. The materials are durable and once assembled, it is a high quality piece. Assembly is a bit tricky, so don't skip steps - do lay out all the pieces and read ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS before beginning. Be patient. It takes some time. Having 2 people is definitely helpful. May take 2 hrs or so....Enjoy!

My husband and I looked everywhere for a simple nightstand and were suprised at how difficult one was to find. This nightstand met all the qualities we were looking for - it was affordable, simple in design, and of a darker wood color. It was easy to put together and the quality of the product was excellent. No particle board or flimsy material was used. We would definitely recommend this item.

This is a pretty nice piece. Only took about 45 minutes to put together with an electric screwdriver. Is a very solid piece once finished. It arrived in one box packed extremely well, no damage. The directions could be a little better but they get the job done and it is pretty straight forward assembly.

Perfect end table. Good storage space and drawer moves freely. Wood & finish are good quality. Would purchase again.

I love the tables. Assembly was not bad. I especially like drawer hardware and the rollers that close the drawer. Nice finish.

I purchased two of these tables a while ago to complement the sofa table from the same set. I am very happy with the purchase. The tables do take some time to put together, but the instructions are very clear. Almost all parts are made of solid wood (the exception is the inside of the drawer), which gives the product a great value.

This end table is great! The instructions are clear enough (unlike some of these reviews), you just have to pay attention and not try to figure it out on your own. It took about 30 mins for me to put it together, with the help of my husband during the couple of parts that you can really use 2 people. They provide extra hardware in case some are messed up or you lose some, which is great. The only issue we had was when screwing in the rails to the drawer, the pressboard split. The entire table is stained wood except the sides, back, and bottom of the drawer. The legs, top, shelf, front panel of the drawer, and even the back panel are wood, and the hardware is good quality. You just need to be extra careful when screwing into the sides of the drawer because of the pressboard panel. Even with that, though, the drawer slides really smoothly on the rails. We are really happy with this end table!

This table has a nice appearance and fairly well labeled instructions for assembly are included. However, it took me 2 hours to assemble, and I made very few mistakes along the way. The quality of materials, for the most part, is about what I expected, with the exception of the drawer pieces. When I went to screw in the track on the bottom of the drawer, the "wood" cracked. It held together, but with age, I can see a potential problem with the drawer down the road. For the track on one side of the drawer, I used a Phillips screwdriver, and the other side I used a power drill, and either way it cracked. Also, the drawer handle included has a cheap appearance, so I may eventually replace that with a handle I pick up at the home improvement store. Also, on one side of the table, there is a small gap between the leg and the part that holds the drawer. I am a pretty strong guy, and no matter how hard I tried to squeeze it together, the gap is still there. It's not that noticeable, but for some reason there's no gap on the other side. Other than that, the table is a good size and does look nice when it's put together. It's a good thing I only needed one, though, as I can't imagine assembling two of them!

We already had the console table and decided to purchase the end table too. It arrived quickly, is well-constructed and looks great. Nice medium to dark wood finish, just as pictured. Terrific value!

Nice sturdy table. Was packed very well and not a scratch on it. A few notes about the assembly. You need to follow the directions exactly. I'm handy and it took me about 1 1/2 hrs (while watching TV). Be careful to put the wooden dowels only in the holes called for on the directions. I put a few in without following the directions exactly and had to correct. The directions call for a hex wrench (not included), but a regular screwdriver works much better. When you attach the drawer slides to the side panels, the picture is a little hard to see. Just make sure that the openings to accept the drawer face UP. I would pre drill the holes for the slides that attach to the drawer. I didn't and two of the screws split the wood (still worked though). When attaching the shelf, DO NOT tighten the hardware until it is completely touching all 4 sides (this will make sense when you're doing it). Overall very happy with the purchase.

This is a really good piece, with nicer quality than many. It was a little time-consuming to put together but not hard. I was able to do it myself in about an hour. The piece is very sturdy and the drawer works well.

The product quality is excellent. One you put it together you will be more than pleased. The only issue is assembling it. Although the instructions try to make it easy, you have to really read and reread each step especially when you come to actually putting the pieces together. There are several orientations of the parts, but only one way will actually work when putting them altogether properly. If you make a mistake, you will have to disassemble everything and do it all over again. If you get into this situation, you can damage the unit because when you assemble the parts they go together in a semi-permanent fashion. Be sure to look at the instructions carefully regarding the orientation of the parts.

I ordered this table in July 2009 & haven't managed to put it together yet. It's sort of a family joke at this point - everytime anyone comes over, I let them have a go at it. We've made it to the dowel pegs stage but nothing lines up. I'm still waiting for that special skilled craftsman to walk through the door & rescue me from my table of shame. I'm not sure anyone would buy it if I sold it "as is" on Craigslist!

Very happy with this product. Good quality, well designed, and reasonable assembly time. Love the smaller size of these end tables. Goes great in today's smaller spaces. Nice to have the shelf and the drawer for storage.

This table is beautiful! We ordered two and put the first one together last night, which took about an hour. (It definitely was easier with two of us putting the table together -- one of us read the instructions, which can be difficult to decipher, and one of us did the actual putting together of the table.) The color of the wood is deep with just a hint of red, which was just what I wanted. The pieces all fit together and the drawer slides in and out very smoothly. It's a very solid table, pretty heavy when totally assembled. It arrived five days after I ordered it, and nothing was damaged. These tables are a beautiful modern addition to our living room. Very happy with my purchase, would definitely recommend to anyone!
