Cream Chenille/ Hardwood Sofa

I was so thrilled when I first unpacked the sofa. It looked great, and the compact size was perfect for my smallish living room. The only assembly required was to screw on the legs. Then I took a second, more careful look, and all the problems with this sofa became obvious. First of all, the fabric on the inside right arm was of a completely different shade to the rest of the sofa. Secondly, the row of buttons along the back were not sewn on in a straight line. Thirdly, the cushion (which looks separate but is actually sewn to the seat platform) was attached off-center. Fourthly, there is very little padding on the seat platform, so you can feel the frame slats under your butt through the cushion when sitting on it. All in all, this is an over-priced piece of furniture which has great design but is of poor construction. After working with the O Customer Service Dept., who were professional and helpful, I ended up keeping the sofa (and keep a throw draped over the mismatched arm), but now I wish I had sent it back. Unfortunately, this bad experience has now made me think twice about furniture again from Overstock.
