Simply take out of box, hang on wall and in minutes you are enjoying you fireplace. We put it above 2 chairs and a table. It's the finishing touch - Beautiful! The color is true to picture. It's light enough to hang easily while appearing more substancial. It's larger than I envisioned from the ad, which for me was a good surprise.

I had been watching different versions of gel fireplaces for a long time. When this one went on sale, I grabbed it plus free shipping weekend. Arrived within a few days of order in perfect condition. It's a little smaller than some as it only has two gel fuel cells where most have 3. I created a template out of paper to simulate the dimensions but it still seemed a little smaller than I expected. It still fits perfectly in the space selected - just didn't take up as much space as I thought. It's very well contructed and requires no assembly. Easy to follow instructions for hanging with minimal tools Just measure twice and drill once. It adds a richness to my master bedroom and creates romance as well. We LOVE this gel fuel fireplace! It makes our living room so much more inviting. Being in Colorado, when the snow is falling and it's cold outside, we can sit and look out our front window and listen to a crackling fire and watch the flames dance. It's so comfy and cozy. The fireplace cames ready to install in one piece, just add the gel fuel and it's ready to enjoy. We also love the fact that the surround doesn't get hot. Overstock's picture is true to life and we really like the slate look. This is our second gel fuel fireplace. We put one in our bedroom three years ago. I would HIGHLY recommend a gel fuel for any room you would like to make a statement in.
