This rug was everything I was hoping for; it is plush (a bit too plush for my weak vacuum cleaner) and looks perfect in my living room. It looks truly silver. I have silver, black and slate blue accents and this rug perfectly compliments each piece. The kids love to roll around on it. It is super cozy. I am very happy with my purchase.

I put itin my son's baby room and it is so nice to sit with toys and books and enjoy play on the floor. I have other shag rugs that are nice but not as plush as this one.

I searched for rugs for over a month. I knew I wanted a grey/silver rug to go with a white leather futon I had found on Overstock. This was one of the lowest priced rugs I found yet the quality of the rug belies the price. I'm so happy with my purchase!

This rug is much better in person. The pile is thick, extremely soft and bouncy. It vacuums easily, no special adjustments to my plain, 12 year old bargain upright are needed. I am allergic to wool so I needed a great rug with a soft pile for our living room. This is terrific! There are actually a lot of very subtle color striations in the weave that in person give this rug a lot of depth. It is not a flat grey, which I did not want, and yet it also has no pattern in it. It was delivered fast, packaged in heavy duty plastic sheeting over an inner wrap, so it stayed clean and dry. It is actually rather lightweight to carry so I was able to roll it out myself despite its size. It plumped up in about an hour and that was a month ago, it looks great. There has been no shedding or crushing of the pile. I highly recommend this rug.

This rug feels great on your feet; I purchased for my daughter's room and was trying to get a designer look for a great price; She absolutely loves it; It does have a rough backing, in that it is not covered with cotton or canvas, but I used a rug pad so this is not a problem; It is on a hardwood floor. It did have an odor for about 1-2 weeks but this has gone away. It was really well wrapped and I received it in about a week. So glad that I finally overcame my fear and started shopping online and overstock is a great place to visiit; I always have ideas and items in my cart and I have loved my purchases.

I have one fault only with this rug. It has been down for two weeks now and I still see ther tight roll marks from the first day. I know it will get better, and I have this urge to lay something heavy over it to smoosh out the fold marks or to steam it. Well, other than that and leaving it outside for the chemical smell for a couple of days, I really love it, and immediatly wanted to order a second one to cover the whole room, but the price changed the next day and I had time to get my good sense back. I have ordered several rugs from the O and only had to send back two for it's dingy color, so I am cautious now and read reviews. This is the perfect grey color with silver shimmering threads that brighten it up. You won't go wrong and the soft thick feel you will really love walking on and looking at!

The rug is nice, matches my silver accent wall. It isn't as soft as some of the reviews state. Not that it's rough but I am use to thick shag rugs that are amazing. Ones you;d want to roll around on, lol. This one not so much but is pretty and thats what i was going for more than comfort.

Very plush, I expected medium gray due to other reviews and am very glad I read so many because the picture is definitely a light taupe on my monitor, Definitely medium gray, love the rugs, I ordered 3 for 3 rooms that flow together and the monochromatic tone makes the space larger. Very happy!

I always thought I would never buy a carpet without first seeing and feeling it, but purchased this rug after reading all the positive reviews so knew I also had to reciprocate with my own review! I am very happy with my purchase and have waited a few weeks before reviewing it. The color is pretty accurate, silver strands with thinner silver and black strands which give the carpet less of a true silver look but more of a shaded variation in color. In the sunlight it has a bit of a shimmer to it which is very nice. It is dense and has not shedded at all. There was a plastic odor which went away after a few hours. Once rolled out, the rug laid flat also after a day or so. I did put a foam padding under it to add extra cushioning since I have a toddler. Overstock as always shipped the rug immediately and I received it in 3 days. Very happy with Overstock - great price and great purchase.

This area rug is beautiful. I was pleasantly suprised. Was hesitant to order a carpet on line. This is a dense carpet. It looks much better in person than on the website. Rich multi-hues of grey & silver.

I love this rug, it is very comfortable and the perfect size for my living room. The only problem I have right now is my ways of cleaning it, the rug is very thick shag that I'm having difficulty running my vaccuum cleaner on it. The color matches the one pictured. Although I dont like to call it silver because when I hear silver I think of shiny sparkly coloring and it doesn't have that at all. It's more like a light gray. I love it! My living room color is tan walls, cream leather couch, white red accent decor and black table/tv etc.. I also have a light colored bamboo floors. I definitely recommend putting a rug grip underneath it if you have hardwood floors so it stays as it tend to slide all over the place without it.

This is a great quality rug, thick fluffy shag, zero shedding, and a nice rich silver. My one year old immediately started dancing on it and it became her favorite place to sit and play and lay down. The actual fibers aren't super soft to the touch but the overall thickness makes it so nice to sit on! I came perfectly wrapped, and after a couple of days lay totally flat on the floor and became nice and fluffy. Tiny bit of a smell but it went away gradually. Also, it cleans amazing, my daughter spilled smoothie on it and I quickly sprayed it with an oxi spray and wiped it up, and it was GONE. The only thing is that it's a little darker than I thought and much more of a cool, steely gray. So it was too modern looking for my living room which had some beige in it :(. I ended up selling it on Craigslist for the same price that I bought it, to avoid shipping it back to overstock. I did buy a rug pad on overstock which made a little softer to walk on and held it in place.

I bought this rug in February of 2012 because I had some spare cash, but I didn't "deploy" it until July. This was not an issue, it fluffed right up and it only took a couple of days for the corners to lie totally flat. I am very happy with the color and the texture. I am happy I read other reviews and saw that the color is more of a silver/speckled black than a pure silver. I like it and if you aren't extremely close to it, it looks silver. I have not had any issues with it tracking fibers around the house, which is an issue with some shag carpeting. Obviously I really like it! I would have given it 5-stars, because it is exactly what I was shopping for, but a lot of people think that 5-star reviews are fake.

I'd call it gray, not silver. It's softer than expected; I use it in the living area of a townhouse and don't need a pad under it. I'm really glad I went for it, even though I was wondering if the word "silver" meant there was a sparkly thread in the blend or something. There isn't. This rug was a good buy and arrived very quickly. It also didn't have the "new rug" smell to it upon unwrapping it.

I ordered this rug for my living room and quickly realized it was not the size I should have ordered. We LOVE sitting and laying with our dog on this cozy/comfy rug. We have all hardwood floors so it makes a cozy space on the floor. I actually just ordered the 9.6" x 13' size to accomodate our entire living room. I will move this rug to one of the bedrooms. We just love it!
