Very plush, no shed, perfect for my living room!
I bought this rug after reading the many positive reviews on all the "Cozy Solid Ivory" rugs on Overstock up through this size (note: I noticed the item numbers are related for all the rugs up to the 8.5'x12' rugs, but the poorly-reviewed 9.5'x13' rug is a very different item number, which may explain the difference - I ordered the 8.5x12 to be on the safe side and am glad I did). Other positive reviews are spot-on. The rug is so, so plush and soft without being too shaggy (fibers are about 1.25" long) and you can't feel the backing through the rug like so many cheaper shag rugs. The rug is made up of two thicknesses of same-colored warm ivory fiber, which adds some additional texture (the skinnier fibers are also twisted tighter which adds to this effect), and I hope will hide dirt. The rug smells like polypropylene rugs do the first day or two, but the smell is dissipating quickly. Having a dog and kids, I was worried this rug wouldn't be able to be vacuumed, but my Dyson handles it very well (no shedding!), and even my Roomba seems to do okay, though it occasionally hiccups when trying to climb up onto the rug. It adds a nice design element to my old home and sets off my darker leather furniture, while also making the living room look so much more inviting, bright, and comfortable. Couldn't be happier.

Nice, soft, beautiful color and very high quality.
This is a great buy. This rug is super soft and looks very high quality -- and the price is really incredible. I didn't even place a matt under it (I didn't think it was necessary). Don't be afraid to buy it. It's a go!

Love walking barefoot!
I had my eye on this rug for a while and finally decided to go for it. I am so happy I did! It really makes my bedroom look complete. It's really nice to step out of bed onto this soft fluffy rug in the morning. Even my husband commented how much he likes it! The color is not as white as picture though. I'd have preferred more white ivory and this is definitely a cream color but it still looks okay. Another great quality bargain from O.Co!

Great rug
The rug came two days before expected and fit exactly where we planned it. I had the advantage of seeing the same rug (smaller size) and my mom's, who also bought her rug from overstock.com. The rug is perfect for the space and the overall experience of purchasing from overstock was seamless!

Nice looking rug
For the price, much better than I expected. I had previously bought a different shiny shag rug, but the pile was so sparse you could see tha rug backing. This one is nice & thick, very soft and plush. Color was perfect.

Feels Luxurious and Expensive
Wow! For the price, you simply can't beat it. It feels luxurious and looks way more expensive than it was. The perfect pile height. Looks full and is soft without being a "70s shag". It vacuums nicely and most of the wrinkles from shipping have settled out after a week of lying flat and a couple passes of the Dyson. Color in photo is true (it's definitely an ivory, NOT white).

Not White
The only reason i did not give this rug 5 stars is that the color is nothing like the picture. This rug may be nice but it certainly is not white or ivory. it is more like a creamy almost yellowish color. We specifically ordered the Ivory because we figured the beige would be too dark but the white is too dark. it is not white so if you are looking for an true white rug, their ivory rug is not it. Aside from that it is an amazingly plush rug. No smell at all like some rugs have when you first open them. Since we just opened it today not sure how it holds up with vacuuming.
