Love, love this carpet
I have ordered 5 home decor products from Overstock to date, loved all but one, and that was was refunded immediately and with extreme efficiency. This carpet is probably my favorite! I struggled with picking it, worrying the color and quality quill disappoint..well: it has exceeded my expectations! Perfect ivory, nice size pile, super soft under bare feet. When I first unrolled it, I placed heavy books on edges to flatten the curled edge, it was flat within a couple of hrs. No smell, no fuzzies, it doesn't shed. My daughter tried to order it as well only to find they were out of stock !

Nice, but wrong measurements
This rug is lovely, thick, and soft, but it's NOT 8x10. It's about 7'9" by 9'9". This isn't a big deal for me, except it means trimming the rug pad, which is kind of annoying. Overstock should measure the rug and correct the description, in case it's a problem for other customers. Other than that, it's a really nice rug. We have it in our den, but it would be great in a kid's or baby's room or even the master bedroom (it's somehow both cute and classy). It's a true ivory or off-white, and the color is uniform (other shags sometimes have gray or brown threads intermingled). It doesn't seem too sheddy, but I haven't had it for long. It's modern yet cozy, and it warms up our space. I really like it.

Cozy Solid Ivory Shag Rug
This rug looks like an expensive rug from a high-end store. I was a little concerned about the shag, but it is short and very well done. It makes my room look so expensive. It is comfortable under the feet and has an elegant look. I have a daughter who is a designer and she plans to use this rug in several projects. It ipriced well for the value. I am delighted with it.

Beautiful!
We were looking for a shag rug for our new house, and probably ended up going to about 6 different stores. We were looking for quality but did not want to end up paying $1000. Found this on Overstock and we it arrived, it surpassed our expectations. Soft and plush, and good quality, I would expect it would cost more than double if not purchased at overstock. Very pleased!

super happy
This rug was my first purchase from overstock and a birthday present for my daughter so I was a little nervous about how it would work out. The delivery was very quick, arriving in time for her birthday, even though I had left things rather late. The quality of the rug was much higher than I had expected, especially as the price was much lower than similar rugs she had looked at in stores. She is very happy with the colour and overall look. There was a rather strong smell for the first week or so but we opened windows and it soon disappeared. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

Incredibly comfy and thick plush rug!
I'll admit that at first, I was very skeptical of buying a rug online. I reviewed countless products for severa weeks before I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchased this ivory shag rug. From the moment it arrived at the front door, I fell in love. The color is a true ivory and the size was exactly as described on the website. The quality is top notch - very plush and full. It's so plush, in fact, that I've been tempted on several occassions to lay down next to the dogs and nap on it. I also should mention that it is very easy to vaccuum. We've had other shag rugs in the past that simply wouldn't hold up to our Dyson vaccuum. That is not the case with this rug. We've had this one for six months and vaccuum it twice a week because we have two huskies who shed constantly. The Dyson glides right over the rug and it hasn't snagged once. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Great Value for the Price!
I have been shopping around for shag rugs and found a couple I loved!...but were $2,000-$3,000. After reading the reviews on this rug (and to save my husband from having a heart attack), I decided to try this rug out. I couldn't be happier. The rug is great quality and for the size it is a great value! There was a slight odor to the rug when we first got it, but I am weird with smells and after a couple of days, I didn't notice the smell. Very glad I purchased this rug (and so is my husband!)

So thick, soft and cozy
I really love this rug. It's soft, I have not experienced any shedding issues and the color was spot on as on the site. I bought this for my bedroom and it's so great and cushy on your feet. I would definitely recommend this rug for those looking for something soft and not too shaggy.
