I have ordered 5 home decor products from Overstock to date, loved all but one, and that was was refunded immediately and with extreme efficiency. This carpet is probably my favorite! I struggled with picking it, worrying the color and quality quill disappoint..well: it has exceeded my expectations! Perfect ivory, nice size pile, super soft under bare feet. When I first unrolled it, I placed heavy books on edges to flatten the curled edge, it was flat within a couple of hrs. No smell, no fuzzies, it doesn't shed. My daughter tried to order it as well only to find they were out of stock !

This rug is lovely, thick, and soft, but it's NOT 8x10. It's about 7'9" by 9'9". This isn't a big deal for me, except it means trimming the rug pad, which is kind of annoying. Overstock should measure the rug and correct the description, in case it's a problem for other customers. Other than that, it's a really nice rug. We have it in our den, but it would be great in a kid's or baby's room or even the master bedroom (it's somehow both cute and classy). It's a true ivory or off-white, and the color is uniform (other shags sometimes have gray or brown threads intermingled). It doesn't seem too sheddy, but I haven't had it for long. It's modern yet cozy, and it warms up our space. I really like it.

This rug looks like an expensive rug from a high-end store. I was a little concerned about the shag, but it is short and very well done. It makes my room look so expensive. It is comfortable under the feet and has an elegant look. I have a daughter who is a designer and she plans to use this rug in several projects. It ipriced well for the value. I am delighted with it.

We were looking for a shag rug for our new house, and probably ended up going to about 6 different stores. We were looking for quality but did not want to end up paying $1000. Found this on Overstock and we it arrived, it surpassed our expectations. Soft and plush, and good quality, I would expect it would cost more than double if not purchased at overstock. Very pleased!

My main concern in purchasing this ivory rug was the possibility it would stain or be difficult to vacuum. Neither is a problem. I use my Dyson with the beater ON and it's super easy. AND my dog has peed on it twice (lovely) and it cleaned up super easily and shows NO staining at all. Truly miraculous! Also, it always looks good, unlike some shag rugs which if they are not just vacuumed they look flat. Not as plush as the same carpet in beige, oddly enough, but the color is so much nicer. Safavieh brand.

My husband did not want a rug in our living room, but I bought this one anyway. I figured the price was good so why not. Also we having twins soon and I wanted something cushy for them to be able to crawl around on. Since we have put the rug down, I can't keep my hubby off the floor (and we don't even have a rug pad down yet)! This rug is great! So cushy and soft. We haven't had any shedding problems and have vacuumed it once so far. Of course our cat puked on it the first week we had it and the stain came right up with oxyclean. We have had really good success with Safavieh rugs and we can add this one to our list of successes! We are even buying the gray one for our master bedroom!

We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a one-year old. When the rug came, and my husband saw how white it was, he thought I was crazy. But, I had high hopes and have yet to be let down. We have had this rug for over a month now, and it still looks clean and has held up perfectly. It's soft enough for our son to lay down and relax on, yet hearty enough to handle the claws and paws of 4 pets (we tend to go through rugs quite quickly). Plus, I think it looks great in our home. Great buy!

I knew as soon as we unrolled it that the quality and color of this rug was not what we were looking for. It is an average rug, such as one that might be found at a local discount store. Very long shag, but it was not plush and thick as expected from the description and reviews. I would recommend this for a kids playroom or a college apartment, but do not buy this if you want something that looks expensive. We rolled ours back up immediately to return, and unfortunately will have to accept a reduced refund. But at least it is not staying in our living room.

I've ordered a few rugs from overstock, but this is the best one. Good pile size and color is correct.

I was looking for a fluffy soft rug because my family loves to lay on the flour and watch tv. This was perfect. Ive had it for a few weeks now and have been satisfied so far. Great quality for price.

I love this carpet, couldn't be happier. I want to order more but am thinking i might just redo my whole house of carpet. This piece spoiled me. its thick and full and doesn't mat down when walked on. Had not shed once and i have little kids and a dog on it all day. Couldn't be happier!

It's very soft, and my kids enjoy laying on it. We have an all tile floor, so this is the perfect accent on it. Wish they had more colors. I can't speak for ease of clean up because we've only had it a week. But we got it quickly and put it out, took about 24 hours for it to lay flat after shipping. No funny smells. Just perfect for our space. And for the price you can't beat it!

This rug is plush and feels so good underfoot! It is made by Safavieh. The quality and the price are unbeatable. The delivery was just a couple of days and you can't beat the shipping price. I've purchased a number of rugs from Overstock.com and this was the best so far.

For the price, this is a beautiful rug. It took a week or so for it to flatten out. It looks great in my family room. It's just not as plush looking as the photo shows, more shag-like (which it is described as), but the photo makes it look much fuller than it is. Still for the price, it's a great rug.

I am so happy with this rug. I bought two - one for each daughter's bedroom. The quality is great and the price was better than the "remnant" we bought for our previous home.

Large soft rug...I purchased it for a teen's bedroom. She loves it. It is large soft and right in the trend of shaq rugs. It does not shed and did not have an odor like some rugs I have purchased.

This rug is simply amazing. If you are looking for great quality and the best price buy this rug. I have purchased 2 rugs on overstock, one for my living room and one for my bedroom. This rug was definitely the better buy. The living room rug is great but I put this rug under my bed in our master bedroom and it has not disappointed. Every one who comes over remarks on the rug and I have even encouraged some of my friends to purchase it. We have a spare bedroom and I really want to buy this rug again for that room but feel that might be a bit much since we only have a 2 bedroom! Definitely buy the rug and enjoy it with its wonderful price!!!

I'm not blown away by this rug, but the longer I have it the more I like it. In about 2 days it straightened out and lost any new carpet smell. It is fairly thick, much thicker than Ikea rug, for example, and soft enough. Overall, it looks great. I'm not giving it 5 stars because while soft, it could be softer with more natural fibers and more plush, but for the price it's great!
