Unlike most electric blanks, this one is plush. It has very soft microfibers and is not the itchy kind that you have seen for years. The price is far less than I've ever seen on a plush electric blanket by about 50%. I received the blanket and immediately started using it. There was absolutely no odor as it smelled fresh (not the new smell that comes with most). It also has a perfect shape, the size is what you would expect unlike many blankets that say they are queen size but are more like a full size. Compare with the premium ones at JC Penney and Macy's and you will find no difference....except the much cheaper price for this one. It warms just as it should with multiple heat settings and dual controls on the queen. It really is a fantastic product.
No more cold toes! We turn on our blanket a couple of hours before we go to bed. That way the whole bed is warm when we crawl in. We warm it up on level 7 or 8, then turn it down to low, 2 or 3 during the night. Very nice to have in the winter time to keep our heating bills down.
I got this blanket super fast! It heats up really well. and it's comfortable overall. The only nagging thing I have to say about this blanket is that it doesn't stay on the entire 10 hours. I have realized that the blanket twice now has cut off two times in the middle of the night. Needless to say I was cold. So I'm not sure how long it really stays on.
