This cabinet came and I thought it might be hard to assemble, but it was so easy and the directions were super easy to follow. I love it and it is very sturdy and well built. Would recommend to anyone. Got here in 3 days too so that was a bonus. A+++

My old T.V. died and the new flat screen would not fit in the armoire that I was using. I looked around and found either huge wall units or very modern ugly and mostly cheap looking tables. My house is not large so the wall units were not an option. When I saw this piece I was not quite sure and my husband was not sure about the black color,but after having spent hours and hours looking on the internet and in the malls I decided to give it a try. It arrived in a timely fashion and I was about to start the dreaded chore of puttig it together........SUPRISE!!, it was not a chore. In fact after many years of putting these things together, this is one of ,if not the best piece I have ever worked on. The instructions were clear, holes all in the right place,and no missing parts. The end result was a beautiful piece of furniture that looks like it came from a high end store.I could not be happier. The black color and finish are gorgeous and the price was more than reasonable. Thanks overstock!

I looked everywhere to find an attractive, reasonably priced stand for my new 42" plasma TV as it wouldn't fit into my old entertainment center. Everything was either flimsy looking or very expensive. After reading the reviews for this one on Overstock.com, I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical at first, but when I started putting it together I was hopeful that it would be okay. Well, it took about 2 1/2 hours from the moment I opened the box to completion. It would probably go together faster but I was being very careful and methodical. It was the easiest piece of furniture that I ever put together and only took a Phillips screwdriver. It is absolutely beautiful and sturdy and is the perfect size for the TV.

Those 'dings' you are covering up with black markers/shoe polish/etc. are supposed to be there. That's what gives it the distressed/antique look. I bought a coffee table that is the same way. My son-in-law, who is a cabinet finisher, told me that is the latest look.

I ordered this item on 1-31-10 and received today, 2-3-10. My husband immediately put it together, in about an hour, and it looks great! There were a couple of minor places where it looked like it was not stained/painted, but it was quickly fixed with a black sharpie. I am extremely pleased with not only the item but also in how quickly the item was shipped to my house. I would highly recommend both Overstock and this item to anyone.
