My old T.V. died and the new flat screen would not fit in the armoire that I was using. I looked around and found either huge wall units or very modern ugly and mostly cheap looking tables. My house is not large so the wall units were not an option. When I saw this piece I was not quite sure and my husband was not sure about the black color,but after having spent hours and hours looking on the internet and in the malls I decided to give it a try. It arrived in a timely fashion and I was about to start the dreaded chore of puttig it together........SUPRISE!!, it was not a chore. In fact after many years of putting these things together, this is one of ,if not the best piece I have ever worked on. The instructions were clear, holes all in the right place,and no missing parts. The end result was a beautiful piece of furniture that looks like it came from a high end store.I could not be happier. The black color and finish are gorgeous and the price was more than reasonable. Thanks overstock!

We are really pleased with this entertainment center. It has a look of a much more expensive piece of furniture. We were also very happy with how quickly it was shipped to us and that it arrived in perfect condition. I got this to use as my main entertainment center. It works if you don't have many items to work with. All I have is a LCD, PS3 and Xbox. It's going to be tight once I add a sound system.Setup took a few hours and at the end I was missing 1 screw. Not too bad since I was able to replace it at the hardware store.But overall it's nice. nothing fancy, nothing cheap. Decent.

Was very impressed with quality of TV stand. After waffling around for a few minutes trying to understand the directions, putting the stand together was actually rather easy. Looks great with my TV and is a nice addition to my living room.

The media stand is as promised. It is a beautiful and functional cabinet that offers plenty of storage for dvds and places for the cable equipment etc. All parts were provided and the directions were easy to follow. This is a nice addition to our tv room and was a great value. Thank you.

After doing extensive research, I was surprised by how many overpriced, oversimplified media stands were on the market today. It seemed as if many people were paying more for their stands than they were for their televisions. Overstock provided a low cost alternative that was worth the investment.The shipping was swift, although my package arrived with major damage to the corners. Luckily, the foam interior protected the damage from reaching the product. On the subject of foam, there was a lot of it. It took me hours just to clean the mess after unpacking it all. My first reaction was that this product truly comes in pieces. Prepare yourself for putting every imaginable piece together. The instructions helped, although there is still room for improvement. The finished product was great. More importantly than my satisfaction was my wife's, who intermittently interjects that "the media stand turned out great".

This looks great in our living room. A little difficult to put together - took two of us about an hour. It arrived a little banged up, but in overall good condition. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a little bit of black shoe polish. My only real complaint is that the center shelves are not tall enough or adjustable. My stereo receiver fits, but there is no room for it to breathe, so it gets a little hot.

This piece arrived very quickly and was easy to assemble. It is made of good quality wood and was in excellent shape when we recieved it. It looks great and is a wonderful value when compared to ready made media stands I have seen in furniture stores and in catalogs. We are very pleased with the purchase.

This media stand is worth every penny! Shipping was fast, assembly was fast (took my husband 45 minutes) and the finished product looks WONDERFUL! It looks like something that we paid much more for. We love the antiqued look. I have been so pleased with this product.

The unit arrived very quickly. The box was damaged, causing dings in several pieces. The items not well insulated by the shipper and it appears that is what caused the dings in the wood. however, it did not affect any visible parts, so it was not a major problem. It did take a while to put together, it's helpful to have two people do it. It looks great & is compact and neat. It is exactly as described. Very, very happy with it.

The TV stand was exactly what I wanted. If you follow the directions, it is really easy to assemble. There was only 1 thing that didnt' make sense. For the holes in the back where you pull the various electronic cords through to plug in...the hole for the middle shelves is not large enough for anything on the top middle shelf. the hole ends just below the shelf, so I had to cut the hole larger to pull a cord through. The middle shelves do not move. Otherwise I love it.

We are not 'handy' types but we didn't have much difficulty putting this together. It took a few hours and only one phillips screwdriver. All the hardware was included. It's easier if you have someone to help you hold the parts together. One of the drawer runners was cracked. We glued it together. The finish is nice with slight 'antiquing'. One tip for the not so handy: the feet of the unit have little covers over the ends that get screwed into the holes in the bottom of the unit. Take the little covers off before you start trying to push them into the holes! Another tip: Don't put the back on until you figure out where you want all your wires to go.

This media cabinet is well-constructed for the price and had easy to read instructions for putting it together. It has plenty of room for a 40-50 flat screen TV and the shelving holds a lot of DVDs and CDs. I'd definitely recommend!

I recently bought this piece for my living room and am happy enough with the stand. It was fairly easy to put together just need a screw driver. I am very happy with both how sturdy the stand is and how fast we recieved it after ordering. However, I was not happy with the condition the stand was delivered. There were several scratches and little knicks I noticed when taking the pieces out of the box. Thankfully, the scratches were all on bottom pieces and would be hidden; so I didn't send for replacement parts. Another problem was there is a gap between one of the glass doors and both the top of the stand and the side; but I think I'm the only one who notices it because I like things to be perfect. I'm still fairly happy with the stand and for the price think it looks a bit more expensive. Also the picture doesn't show the wood is antiqued in places so certain spots have a brown antiqued discoloration but there are only a few and on the edges. I think it looks nice.

This is a good looking, solid, TV stand. It looks terrific in our family room with our 40" flat screen. Good storage. Easy to assemble. My vote is this is a great value for the money. It has the look of other higher priced pieces from trendy chain stores at a fraction of the cost.

This was a breeze to put together and looks great. Very compact but has a lot of room for your components. Two little problems: one missing dowel, not hard or expensive to replace and one uneven hole that caused a hidden area to crack, just hit it with some wood glue. Organization is a must in putting it together, lay it out and go step by step. But for the money and time it took me to put together it looks twice as expensive.

instructions are are somewhat difficult to follow, it does not say if the piece is left or right, rest is OK, but which side it goes is very important. There are unpainted areas on all pieces, there was a chip on one of the pieces. Finished product looks good. Management of cables/wires a little bit challenging.

This piece looks very nice in my living room, the shipping was fast and it was pretty easy to assemble, I would highly recommend this for the price.
