I thought about this particular product for a while then finally decided to get it when it was back in stock. It is great. The assembly is timely about an hour and half for me to put together by myself as a female. But it was very self explanatory and obvious if you are patient and are detail oriented. It looks great in dining area holding some glases and plates I still had in boxes. Love it, love price, real product.

The assembly instructions were horrible. Luckily, my husband is very handy and was able to assemble the piece despite the poor instructions. I took him a long time to assemble it also.
**I would recommend to a friend but with the understanding, it will be difficult to put together and if they dont' have someone who is handy, it is impossible!!

I recently purchased this buffet for my dining room. Eventhough some of the reviews were negative I bought it anyway. My husband put it together without any problems, in about an hour. It matches my dining room perfectly. It's the perfect size for my china. I would definately recommend this to others. It is beautiful.

I read the reviews and was alittle apprehensive about the assembly of the item, but I have to say that it was realtively easy to assemble. I assembled while watching TV so it was actually quite fun for me. It took me less than 2 hours to assemble by myself. Once finished this item was great to look at, I really wanted a small buffet table to accent my dining room furniture and this piece is great and it really hard to belive that it is less than $100. I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants an elegant piece of furniture to complement their dining room set.

rec'd product very fast!! very easy transaction. Took a while (2 hrs) to put together because the instructions are VAGUE. Smaller than I thought so am ordering another one to go beside this one!! Quality wood and BEAUTIFUL finish...WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!

This cabinet fits into a small space and is exactly what I needed for my cookbooks! Looks much more expensive that it was and was easy to assemble. Again, Overstock comes through with quick shipping and wonderful prices!

The unit looks great and for the price is a great value. Have to say though It is a chore to assemble. I gave up finally trying to get one of the base bolts into the unit. But overall the appearance is nice and I would buy it again even though it is hard to build. Looks great and fits right into the decor.

I bought this buffet as an addition to our existing formal buffet/hutch and it matches almost perfectly. The style is very traditional, the wood grain detail is a very nice touch. After reading other comments about following the pictures instead of the written directions, putting it together was not difficult. The two issues we had while building it were the magnet that keeps the doors closed, and the stoppers for the drawers. Before securing the magnet piece completely, the doors shut perfectly. After securing it, one door does not completely close - even after adjusting multiple times. As for the drawer stoppers, there is no pre-drilled hole, so you have to sort of guess where they should be placed. Two very minor issues - one very nice addition to my home.

First I had to get my husband to put the cabinet together - - I don't know why but I thought it would come in my piece. I needed extra storage for glasses and small serving pieces and it works great. The wood goes well wth my oak dining room suit. I really like it.

I love the design and quality of this buffet cabinet!! I ordered 4 because they are placed against one wall of my diningroom. The thin-width design allows more area room in the diningroom, yet there is plenty of buffet top space for your food plate line up. Let everyone help themselves and still have space to walk around your eating table.

The instructions are pretty horrible for assembly. They leave out important details. Takes twice as long to put together because you must figure out how to assemble on your own. Product itself is very nice.

looks great when assembled. everything fit. major problem with instructions. suggest use photo's for guidance and not to read the text. there should be a better way to secure the glass. the hardware , screws etc, are all very similar in size and i suggest use a screw that might fit. they are all similar in size and shape and color. back of unit is not the best, but for the money it is acceptable.as i said it does look great and comparable to items costing 2-3times more. if you are a little handy and have a low aggravation level for pitiful directions, you will have a nice solid piece of furniture. it arrived undamaged as usual from Overstock. if you can find anything similar to this it's gonna cost $200 , i know, i looked everywhere.

while a little difficult to assemble, two people are needed to attach the doors in general not as bad as other things I have assembled. The cabinet looks just as I expected and I am satified with this purchase. It fits well in the area I placed it.

Product advertised as "some assembly". Not true!! Our son, having some knowledge of construction, needed four hours of intense concentration to complete the piece. Every piece had to be connected.
I hesitate to recommend it because of the amount and type of assembly required. The directions needed more clarity with actual written directions on the same page as the matching pictures.
The piece is pretty and seems sturdy, but be honest in advertising.
We are also missing one piece that holds the glass in the doors.

Well, the first one came and we began to assemble it only to find the front top was cracked and the base had a large scratch. I called and the lady was so nice, she emailed a return label and we boxed it back up and sent it out the next day. That was Tuesday and on Friday the new one arrived. It was a snap to set up the second time around and it is lovely. If you have large dinner plates or platters it won't hold them but for dessert ware or decorative items it is perfect. Thank you Overstock for great customer service, I only began shopping here recently but everything has been excellent so far.
