Country Cottage Chairs
I ordered the country chairs to go with a new table that I just bought and they matched perfectly. I love these chairs because they are sturdy and pretty. I am kind of a heavy lady and they are just great. I feel confortable and safe in these chairs.

Classic kitchen chair
Previous reviews indicated these are sturdy chairs even for a larger person. They do feel sturdy. The only concern I have is the front legs have a normal width and as the picture shows, has a slight flair at the bottom. The back legs are actually narrower. It isn't a huge difference but enough that our 9 yr old who has a hard time not tipping on chairs has had it slip out from under him twice because of the narrower legs in the back. Fortunately this was on carpet and hopefully will teach a lesson. When I sit on it and lean to the side to grab something off the floor I feel like it could slip, but it hasn't. We bought 6 of these chairs and they went together well when using the proper tools. They look very nice and we are happy with the purchase.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color is fairly accurate. The stain is lighter than what we used to have so the difference might have been my mindset.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. These feel sturdy and the paint is well done. The underside peices that go against the chair (not really even seen if you turn it over, are not painted with 2 coats.

Chairs were damaged
I purchased 2 sets (4 chairs) in each set one of the chairs was broken on the back rest. I like the chairs otherwise because they were the right color, style and very sturdy. I had to glue, clamp and paint both of the damaged areas. You can still see a little of the damage on the back of one chair but overall they look very nice and hold up quite well to someone who has a little excess weight. If your not handy in fixing things I would not buy these chairs.

great chairs
These chairs are easy to assemble, even for me ( a fumbling senior citizen). They look real nice in my kitchen. They are slippery on my hard wood floors, but not enough to reject them. They are easy to keep clean, just wipe them down with a damp cloth. I love them and would recommend them to anyone.

very nice
We put them together today, they look nice and seem pretty sturdy. Time will be the true test. We are a large family so hopefully they can withstand the workout they will get.

Comfortable and solid, but legs a little uneven
Chair legs are a little uneven. I had to add a slider to one leg to stop it from wobbling. But now things are fine.

nice looking sturdy but poor workmanship
I agree with all of the other reviews in one aspect or another. They seem very sturdy and I am tall and large weighing over 250lbs. Assembly can seem cumbersome. The predrilled holes are not accurate but it is not a big deal because the wood screws are self tapping. The assembly can be very long if you follow the directions and do no use an electric drill. You can only tighten the main screws 1/4 turn at a time. After following the instructions on the first chair and spending 30min assembling it. I tried the electric drill. BE SURE AND SET THE TORQUE RELEASE TO THE LOWEST SETTING. You just want to use the drill to get the screws started but not torqued. Then use a hand screwqdriver or the allen wrench for the final tightening. This reduces the assembly time to only 10min per chair. After they are assembled you don't see the cracks in the wood and other blemishes. Good value for the money so I guess I can not complain too much about the quality. Overall I am satisfied

Good chairs, not great
I ordered 3 boxes (6 chairs) to replace old windsor style chairs for my kitchen. The chairs arrived quickly and in good condition. The assembly is not difficult, just a little bit tedious. Be careful when using the supplied Allen key wrench as to not strip the screws. Make sure the wrench is all the way in the slot. A little glue is a good idea for added support. The main problem with these chairs is that they are not high quality and although some are level, others are not. The result is inconsistent. For the price ($$$/chair), however, I would still recommend them.

Country Cottage Chair Set
These chairs compliment the Rubberwood Table extremely well and are a perfect match in color. They are sturdy and comfortable. A little attention must be paid during assembly as it is easy to cross over the leg assembly.
