Customer Reviews
This is a great light gray color, good breathable fabric, and looks awesome on my couch. My only wish is that it had a separate zipable cover for the bottom couch cushions, but actually haven't had many slippage problems at all.
These ended up looking like a big sheet. I think the 2 piece covers are a better idea. There is some sort of tool you can buy that would keep them tucked in. I have not purchased this tool yet. I hope when I do it helps. I find myself tucking these covers in at least once a day when its just my husband and I. When the grandkids are here its a worthless cause.
The 'cotton duck' material is thinnner and lighter than my last couch cover, which was also described as cotton duck. The style is better, though. The arms aren't as big and the wrap around ties work pretty well. I can see a few places where I'll probably have to put a few stiches at the end of a seam, eventually, to keep the seem from starting to separate. I have dogs that get on the couch, so that's part of the problem, it gets extra wear. Definately worth it to cover a nice couch or, in my cast, cover a not so nice couch.
I was really happy to have this couch cover, as the last one was a pain and also pretty ugly. Our previous couch cover had an elastic band that was meant to be tucked behind the cushions of the couch..the problem being the body of our couch is one solid piece. So we got rid of that and bought this one and it's a much better fit. My only complaint is that it picks up every single piece of cat hair in the apartment so I'm constantly hitting it with the lint-roller, so would probably not recommend it for other pet owners.
This was my first experience with a slip cover. I bought it to protect a new sofa, since I have a pet, rather than to cover up an old one. I found it relatively easy to put on. The good part is that I have an 84 inch camel back style sofa with large rolled arms and exposed legs that could be challenging to cover, but this slip cover worked well. It did take me about an hour to get it on, adjusted, and smoothed out. I probably should have ironed it before I put it on, but considering that I didn't, it looks almost as good as the picture. I ordered the stone color. To me, it has a little more touch of light sage green than my computer monitor indicated. I do have to periodically re-tuck it in and smooth it, but overall, it looks good. The fabric is nice and heavy weight and sturdy.
