It looks a little cheap, but for what it cost I really didn't expect it to look high end. It was a good value and I won't worry about it getting messed up by my kids. Definitely needs at least 2 people to put it together and a drill makes it go a lot faster.
I little overwhelming to assemble without an electric screwdriver!! Just as pictured. Top is easily scratched or marked, but we use table clothes so no problem. Would definitely buy again. Shelves are great for baskets.
The table is a good size (it fits four or more comfortably), and has a nice white painted finish (although it scratches easily). The biggest problem I had with it was that it was difficult to understand the assembly instructions, even though I am very "handy". I never could get the leaves put together so they would drop correctly. But it does work well in my kitchen, and it seats my family of five nicely.

Relatively easy to put together, good value. My only complaint is the table top. It is a flat piece of compressed fiberboard. But the table works well in the space I had, and I like the drop leaf feature.
