Relatively easy to put together, good value. My only complaint is the table top. It is a flat piece of compressed fiberboard. But the table works well in the space I had, and I like the drop leaf feature.

I am waiting for help with putting the table together. The table arrived with no hardware in the package. After contacting O.com I received the hardware. There was damage to the underside of one of the leafs on the table. It looks like it was rubbed against something black and the paint was damaged. I will touch this up with paint when I assemble the table.

Love the look of the table, but you get what you pay for. The table was a challenge to put together with the "XXXX-like" instructions and it seems that the pre-holed pieces don't align just right. The table top itself is very cheap, while my husband was attaching the base to the top one of the little wooden dowels/pegs went all the way through poking a hole through the table top! The wooden pegs went in too far to the pre-drilled holes so assembly was a pain! The drop leaves don't sit straight when propped up which i'm sure is a direct result from the pre-holed items not aligning. I ended up putting some stacked white felt on the pieces holding up the drop leaves so they are level with the rest of the table since I don't plan on putting down the leaves. Overall the table is cute and exactly as pictured, but the cheaply made pieces and the assembly process was not worth it. If you plan on using this table as your everyday dining table I'd save your money and buy a real wood table- especially if you have kids! I'm using the table as a desk in our office so I hope it holds up a little longer than it would if it was our dining table.

The table it BRIGHT WHITE and look very cheap. It can not be spruced up with baskets, a centerpiece or table linens. It is gong to be a hassel to return but knew immediately it was of poor quality.

This table is what I was looking for however, it's not quality work. If any water spills on the table it will bubble up. With having children it took only 1 weeks time to see "bubbbles". I still like the look of the table and the storage space underneath. However, from now on I will have to put a table cloth on when guest come over.

Like others have mentioned I ordered this table as the cheaper knock-off version for another well known mall store original. I can sum it all up by saying that you get what you pay for. Laminate over mdf. What little wood there was on this table was poorly sanded and painted. I own two side tables of the original mall store furniture and thought I could match them up with this table at one third of the price. Not a chance. Color is bright bright white, not the soft white in picture. The quality isn't there even knowing that it is china-made for even this discounted price. I've bought better furniture at the **** for this kind of money and painted it myself. Right out of the box the leaves were chipped. I'm working with customer service to receive replacement parts. I am not looking forward to trying to put this thing togetherwith the few instrucions included. Time and money are always of issue. If I didn't need a table sooner and if returns weren't so complicated I would save up and get the real mccoy at the mall store....

i was worried that the quality of this table was going to be too poor to use. i had almost convinced myself to buy the more expensive version for sale at the mall because I didn't want to end up with junk. But my husband put it together in an hour (he did have to read the directions) and it looks perfect. We put a table cloth on it and I love it and you couldn't tell the difference. And with the money I saved I can buy chairs and accessories to go on the shelves.

I love this table. I wanted the cottage feel, and this table is perfect. I put two natural colored baskets underneath on the shelves, and I am using natural oak colored chairs. It looks great! The table I was using was too large for the space in our eat-in kitchen, and this one is just right! I usually leave the drop leaves down until I need to use the whole table.

This is a good, utilitarian table. Not high-end by any means but I've had much worse looking and less sturdy tables to be sure. Love the two shelves for storage. Shelves are tall enough to hold 1/2 gallon glass jars. Do notice that the top is stained easily but will clean up with a good amount of elbow grease. No complaints, it's doing what we need it to and looks pretty good in the meantime.

Although the price was right, this table has done nothing but disappoint. When we received the table, the edges of the leaves were already chipped. The supports for the leaves don't really hold the leaves up that well and they sag. Anyone sitting on the side by the leave cannot put any pressure on them. My husband ended up adding more braces to the underneath of the table to support the leaves. I also bought a 48" round glass top so as not to have to worry if someone leans more heavily on the leaf.

I love it! It looks great in my kitchen. The only negative experience I had was during assembly, the holes for the tiny screws are not very easy to drill the screw into. I had to enlarge the holes otherwise I was not able to get the screws to go in straight and there are a lot of them. Also, during assembly the finishing touches (tiny wooden inserts) did not fit into the holes properly, had to use a rubber hammer and glue to get them to stay in; I ended up damaging a few. Aside from these minor pains it looks wonderful and appears high-end. Very similar to one I saw in a high-end catalog except it is smaller than the one I saw. I am very picky and took a long time to purchase a table, very happy I chose this one. It also arrived quickly!

Believe it or not, I actually purchased this table for my bedroom. I tend to take care of the household accounts, keep the years receipts and important papers from the privacy of my bedroom. Then there's the issue of trying to get ready in the morning. Well this little gem fits the bill completely! With the drop down table sides I keep one side down so that it abutts the wall and the shelf below holds decorative containers that in turn hold the important paperwork. I have a nice comfortable chair next to the table and have managed to create an ideal niche for the things I need to do.

We got this table for our eat-in kitchen. It was tricky to assemble, but a very high-end look for a great price. The extra storage shelves are a good solution for our limited cabinet space. I am considering getting a glass top as this will be a popular space for my kids. It will easily fit my family of 5 for supper-time.

I purchased this table after I had my eye on the ***** one. This is very similar in look and function as the higher priced Shayne table from **. The only reason why I didnt give it the full 5 stars is because 1.) it was a bit ackward to assemble and 2.) the side flaps do not aligned straight with the middle piece as in the picture. This might be due to assembly error, but there is a slight slant on both sides :(. I added additional splints to make it align. Other than this, the color is perfect, the finish is great and above all the size is exactly what I was looking for. At 1/5th the cost of what I would have paid at **, I am very pleased.

Once assembled, this looks just like the picture. Took about 90 minutes to assmeble on my own. Probably could have gone quicker if I didn't have to make a hole in a spot that there was supposed to be one. While this piece looks cute (as pictured), I'd say that the overall quality is poor. While I knew product wasn't wood, I expected better quality part. board.. Many reviewers wrote that this scratches very easily. Trust them! I haven't used/ eaten on it yet and already have about 7 scratches-- my placemat even left a mark (and I placed it very carefully after reading other reviews)! I will be painting this soon.. If you are buying this b/c it is a cute white table that you don't anticipate using much, you will probably enjoy the table. However, if you are looking for a table for daily use, you might be better off buying a solid wood table and painting it white. May last longer (and not look like furniture that you could place in an early childhood classroom -- which is where I'll be donating this table in a couple years, I bet).

This is a great table. It was fairly easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the supports under the side flaps could be more stable. They are just held up by small pieces of wood. I will have to remind everyone to not put their weight on it. Other than that, it is very well made, not one flaw. And shipped very quickly. It fits in our eat in kitchen nicely but it is on the big side so be sure to measure if your kitchen is small.

I love this table. I paired it with the country cottage dining chairs. It's sturdy and perfect for a kitchen nook area. It would also be a great game table. The shelves provide a handy storage area . The only assembly problem I had was with the supports for the drop leaves. Instructions were limited for those so I'm not sure if the problem was with the parts or with me. I "redesigned" them to make them work. An electric screwdriver isn't required but I would recommend using one.

It looks a little cheap, but for what it cost I really didn't expect it to look high end. It was a good value and I won't worry about it getting messed up by my kids. Definitely needs at least 2 people to put it together and a drill makes it go a lot faster.
