Great furniture!
I have a couple of pieces of furniture from this company and some of their small chop boards. Everything I have from them is exceptional in its workmanship and quality. This particular piece is very well designed for function and good use of space. The casters also make it easy to reposition for cleaning underneath. The pricing is excellent for solid wood also. I wish all of my furniture was this durable, well designed and beautiful!

Beautiful, sturdy, and practical
This item came fully assembled, and is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The ash & walnut alternating butcher block top is extremely impressive, and the storage space in the oak bottom is considerable. I love that the drawers and cabinet doors are accessible on both sides. Despite the picture showing casters at the bottom, I understand these islands NO LONGER SHIP WITH CASTERS. The island is very heavy, over 300 pounds, so if you contemplate ever needing to move it in your kitchen, I highly recommend screwing some heavy-duty caster wheels to the bottom. It's made in the USA, and I highly recommend it.
