Great, stylish stools

My husband and I looked online and went to several stores to find bar stools. We didn't want to spend more than $250 for a set of 2 stools. We wanted a nice stool, some style, comfortable, but not $400. I'm glad we found these. Functional: The backs stick up far enough for you to actually lean on them, but not so far that they stick up above the counter. Our breakfast bar is close to our bkfast table and we didn't want the area to look like a furniture store with chairs showing everywhere. The leather feels soft yet thick/scratch resistant. The chairs are also quite cushioned and have a decent sized seating area for larger rears. :) Style: Looking at the chairs from the back, you can see the styling and they look great. We have a traditional looking house and these add a little flavor to the room but are not soooo diff from everything else. perfect. The finish is nice, no scratches. The leather is rich in color. All is a very dark brown. Shipping/packaging: Arrived earlier than expected in a Very large box---pre-assembled. Cannot beat that! The chairs came with 2" swatches (I suppose for patching or to match to other furniture). they also came with pads for the feet. Overall: These chairs are sturdy, quality leather, stylish, and affordable. Definitely recommend. They are much better than a typical $75-$100 bar stool you'd see in popular retail stores.

I have been looking for counter stools to match my existing kitchen chairs. and it is the perfect match ! The leather looks luxurious and I love the half back. My kids are using them everyday... the only thing I noticed is that the legs are a little flimsy and my daughter have already knocked it off to the sides twice. I like the idea that it is already assembled and that was my sellling point. I dont like to assemble neither does my husband and it was packaged securely and received it in good condition

Cosmopolitan Dark Brown Leather Counter Stools

I have been looking for (2) counter stools and was so excited to find them on Overstock.com. I received them in a very timely fashion and the packaging was out of this world. The leather smells so wonderful and my kitchen/dining room looks so elegant and rich with the stools. The stools are very well made and sturdy. No imperfections! Well worth the money and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality leather stools at an outstanding price. I will definately shop the O more often!

Better then imagined!

When these stools arrived they were in perfect condition and they are most comfortable stools ever! We just finished our kitchen and I needed six stools. I was looking at stools costing over 300 dollars each and I saw these and took the chance and I'm so glad I did. Everyone who sits in them is amazed at how comfortable they are. I have nothing to gain with this review but if you purchace these you will not be disappointed!

Great stools

We wanted counter stools with some support but whose backs wouldn't obscure our granite on our island or compete with other features in our kitchen. These do exactly that so that the granite and the lighting are more prominent. Plus, they are super comfortable and sturdy. I constantly get lots of compliments and inquiries about the stools. If you like this look and style, you will love the stools. A little more expensive than others on this website but definitely worth every penny. They are packaged beautifully too - and no assembly. You pull them out of the box, sit on them and smile.

These are wonderful

We ordered 2 sets of these counter-height bar stools and couldn't be happier. After looking online for years at "traditional" furniture sites and looking all over town, these are exactly what we wanted! They are very comfortable and look wonderful in our kitchen. We entertain a lot and everyone is so impressed with them -- they can't believe we got them from Overstock.com nor can they believe the quality of the product.

Great quality & comfortable.

Bought 2 of these last year and after kitchen remodel needed 2 more. Great counter stools & very comfortable. Friends always coment on how comfortable they are. My other neighbor ordered 4 after seeing ours and they love them too. Other neighbor bought similar ones at Pier One and was sorry she didn't get these. Very happy with my purchase.

So far so great

I ordered these chairs for my wife and our new house from Afghanistan. The chairs were in my house within a week - even with free shipping. Amazing - never seen a website be that efficient. My wife tells me the chairs are very nice and very sturdy. Some reviews have mentioned they seem a little light weight. Quote from my wife, "They look great. I love the shorter backs - they don't poke up above our counter (36" high) and they are really comfortable." We'll see if they last with 4 kids crawling all over them - we'll let you know.

Luv these chairs

Very happy with these chairs so far. They seem easy to clean (wipe down w/ a damp cloth) and are comfortable. They do have a larger footprint than our last chairs which were just thin wooden stools, so we're getting used to that, but they are much more pleasant to sit on and better with back support.
