Ordered two chairs. Both arrived via UPS in good condition. One box had the leg screws loose but thankfully all four were still in there. Also, legs were a little scratched up despite being individually wrapped (?). Now, here is the funny part. You would think "how hard is it too put four legs on a chair." Well, each chair has two sets of different legs and no instructions/labels as to front or back. I spent far too much time analyzing the online pic and rotating the legs of the first chair. I went with the slightly larger legs in the front and the thinner legs in the back flared out to towards the back. That seems to be how they are designed and pictured online best I can tell. Overall, I'm a little nervous about the leg design from a structural standpoint but only time will tell. Chair is Analine leather which is not indicated on the description and is a beautiful chocolate brown as represented. It seems to be decent quality leather best I can tell. Chair is a bit stiff but hopefully will relax a bit with time as well. I'm using them in a formal living room where they will get less use. Cushion has a velcro strip on bottom making it removable if needed. Cusion cover can also be unzipped. Both good features in the event of a spill.

I recently bought two of the chairs and I am pleased with both of them. The back side is very nicely finished which is important if you don't intend to sit it against a wall. There are no instructions for the leg assembly but the following is what worked for me. The narrower legs go on the back with the slightly flared side facing back. The thicker legs go on the front with the curved side facing inward.

Just received my chair, after ordering a few days ago... couldn't be more thrilled! No assembly required but for screwing the legs onto the bottom corners of the chair; large ones on the front, smaller ones on the back. (seems strange, but that's it!) Dimensions are a bit off from the website description, but not overly so: about 33.5" tall at the center back, 32" wide side to side across the front, about 31" deep. Seat appears firm and not squishy-cheap; leather is nicely finished and stiched all around, so the chair is attractive from all sides. I think it appears much better in person than depicted on the website. Nice compact size and transitional style, nicely accents a room or seating arrangement without overpowering the room. If I had the space, I'd make an arrangement with four of them, around a center ttable. As it is, I'm using this in an open living room, near the fireplace, as sort of a reading corner. Paired with a floor lamp with its shade suspended over the chair, this makes a cozy and convenient reading corner. The only thing I don't like is that it's made in China, but a lot of furniture sold on Overstock appears to be imported. (Have purchased numerous pieces over the years, and they've all been imported.) Overall, a great buy, and very similar in appearance to other upscale retailers' offerings, at a much more reasonable price and scale.

Love these chairs! I had ordered very similar chairs from a well known, pricey furniture store. They cost more than 2x the price of these. When they arrived they were horrible - scratched,the leather didn't match, etc. I sent them back. I was skeptical about these but ordered them anyway because I have heard such great things about overstocks quality and customer service from friends. Well my friends were right - these arrived in perfect condition. The quality was over and above the chairs I paid much more for. Plus these are gorgeous - I ordered the dark brown which is represented very well on line.I am so pleased that i wish I had more room in my house to order more. I didn't have any issues with the legs but I also was thankful to the reviewer that noted which legs go where - probably obvious to some but it would not have been to me. They are a little hard as someone else noted but fine for my purpose. The size is great - I have a small house and they are not bulky and don't take up a lot of space. All in all a terrific experience -

As other reviewers have noted there are no instructions for installing the legs. Not so hard to figure out, but it would be nice to have instructions. But once I figured out which legs went on which corners, I was dismayed to discover that both chairs would not level, not matter what I tried. So I just installed an extra felt pad on the short leg. I could also add some kind of spacer between the leg and the bottom of the chair, in case the extra felt doesn't stay on. One might assume that the problem was user error, but both chairs had the exact same tippiness, so I think it's a quality control issue. Either the legs are not consistent length or the frame is torqued. I suspect the former. Despite that problem, they're a great looking chair. And I actually like how firm they are.

I used this in a rather masculine looking home office/library, and it looks very nice. Not comfortable enough to curl up in to read a book, but a perfectly acceptable seat.

This is a great chair. It is true to the photo and description on the website. Delivery was very speedy.

I ordered this chair on Tuesday (a week ago) and it was here on Friday! The packaging was exceptional and the chair arrived in perfect condition. We only had to put the legs on and that took about 5 minutes. I absolutely LOVE this chair! It looks very high quality and is perfect for the small space I have. It is plenty deep in the seat, not cushy, but very comfortable. Excellent buy for the price! This is my second furniture purchase with Overstock. Great experiences both times.

This chair is not 36.25 inches tall. I'm keeping it, but am disappointed that the dimensions given were not accurate.

I'm so happy with Overstock.com. Wow, I received the chair in less than a week. The chair is the perfect size for my living room space. It's well made, nice dark chocolate color and good quality leather. The seat is firm which I like. The chair looks like it cost twice as much. It was extremely easy to put together and there were no pieces missing. This was my first purchase and it won't be the last. I'm very impressed with Overstock.com.

I really love these chairs. I purchased 2 of them, to flank the fireplace in my library. The leather is a good quality and the feet and construction are sturdy. I placed a lumbar pillow in them for design and comfort, and voila`...designer chairs.

After reading most of the reviews for this chair, we decided to order one to see if we'd like it....it's a nice looking small scale chair.....I'd have to agree with some of the other reviews that the chair is a bit stiff...but not uncomfortable. I would have to disagree with several of the reviews that the assembly was hard or confusing....all you had to do was look at the pictures...wasn't hard at all....all of the parts were there.... We ordered another chair just a few days later...and are very happy with both of them. For the price, we couldn't find anything comparable.....even bi-cast and bonded chairs were a few hundred dollars more then this chair.... All in all, if you are looking for a smaller scale leather chair, you can't go wrong with this one.....especially for the price. If you are looking for a big, soft chair to curl up in to read a book...this isn't the chair for you...Ours are being used in our "formal" sitting area in front of the fireplace so they won't be used daily...they are mostly for looks....and they do look really good. The leather is very dark brown or espresso....but not so dark that they appear black....and the texture is a nice pebbled finish.... Very nice chair....well worth the money!

Arrived on time, packed very nicely, easy to assemble (5 minutes). The chair looks really great, very sophisticated, good size with a deep seat base. I wish the back was higher, but a chair that supported your head would have a totally different look, which is not what we were going for. The chair is only a couple weeks old, so I don't feel totally comfortable rating the level of comfort of the chair, but it does seem a little stiff right now. I am glad we paid a little more to have the chair that is all natural leather, not bi-cast leather. People seem to gravitate towards the chair!

We received the chair in less than one week. It was relatively easy to attach the legs. Based on our comparison shopping, the price was excellent. We were pleased with the appearance and fabric. It is not a large chair but easily accommodates adults.

This chair is an excellent value. Matched our sectional perfectly. Relatively comfortable. Is true to the picture. Not a large chair. Just what we needed at a great price. Highly recommend.

Have been looking for quite a while to find the right leather chair and, once again, Overstock came through. Price, quality, look, this chair has it all. If we had room for a second one , I'd order another.

These chairs are quite nice - the reviews of others were helpful in my purchase. The leather is good looking, the chairs are nicely finished. They are what you would expect for the price, a good deal. Not hard to put together. Hint - look at the pictures online when attaching the legs.
