We visited several stores specializing in bar stools and found we could do better at Overstock. The stools turned out to be as good as they looked in the pictures at a fraction of the price at the speciality stores. The shipment arrived as scheduled with no damage.
We bought two of these barstools for our newly remodeled kitchen. Once I received them, I immediately bought two more! We only needed three for our bar counter, but the cost of four of these was less than the cost of two or three inferior bar stools we found at our local home stores. I figured we would just put one in storage in case one gets damaged (we have a five year old who loves markers!). These are such a great value. We compared to several other stores in the area and I liked these better than anything else I saw... and they were only about half the cost! The red leather is a subtle shade....not a primary red....and true to the online photos. The chairs are lightweight, but I like that they are easy to move. The lightness does not reflect poorly on the workmanship at all. The leather is soft but appears to be strong and the stitching on the leather is tight. No assembly at all was required. They were wrapped securely and were ready to use right out of the box! I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality bar stool. The low cost is just an added bonus!
I ordered these barstools for our kitchen and we love them. They are well made and attractive, as well as super comfortable. They arrived quickly and were in perfect condition when I unpacked them. I need to put some slipproof stick on's on the bottom of the legs as they move around on our laminate floors and I am worried someone might go to sit down and the chair will move away from them. Overall, we highly recommend these chairs.
