I was very nervous about buying this kind of item on line as there were so many potential pitfalls: color, comfort, quality. But after reading the other reviews I took a chance, and it was by far, one of the very best purchases I've ever made on line or otherwise. The color is beautiful and elegant, not a cheap, bright red but a more burnished Tuscan red. But to be sure it is not orange, but red, which is just what I wanted. These stools are very comfortable and offer very good back support despite the low appearance of the back rest. My husband is 6 feet and also finds these very comfortable. We've had them now for 2 months and love them. Very stable also. They also arrived very quickly and completely assembled; a wonderful added bonus. This is a purchase you won't regret.

These chairs are classic and classy. The color is deep and rich looking, and the quality is superb. I ordered 4 of them. They arrived completely assembled and very well packed, with the legs individually wrapped in leather-like protectors! Unreal!! A class act all the way, you won't be disappointed.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I purchased 8 total. I only needed 7, but since you have to purchase in sets of 2, I have an additional one for extra seating, which is fine. They come fully assembled and very well packed, which is great! You pull them out of the box and instant seating! The color is pretty much the color described. They are a muted darker red. They are not shiny bright red. They seem pretty sturdy. Some other reviews have stated trouble with the height, but if you pay attention to the details, you will notice that Overstock offers these same stools in bar height and counter height. Bar being the taller of the two. I think those who complained about the height may have ordered the wrong barstools, which is not Overstock's error. If this is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. This was my first purchase from Overstock, and I will not hesitate in the future to purchase something with the O! The only reason I did not give 5 stars across the board, is that I believe there is always room for improvement... Happy shopping!

I had to return the first shipment of chairs because they were damaged. It appeared they had previously been returned by someone else and reshipped to me. I think this because the second shipment came in a proper box and content was well-secured. After getting over that hurdle, I find the chairs to be really quite nice. Perhaps a touch wobbly, but nothing that can't be adjusted with a little pad on the bottom of the leg. The construction of the seat is very nice; they have the look and feel of expensive furniture. If I had one wish, it would be to ask Overstock.com to sell these bar stools individually so that I could purchase three stools, which is all I need for my space.

I have never ordered any furniture online, but I contilnued to go back and look at these barstools because they were different and reasonably price.d Reading the reviews really helped me make my final decision, that's why I'm writing this review too! If your thinking about ordering the barstools, go for it! The best thing is the come assembled and packaged VERY WELL. I have two young boys, 4 and 6 , so I always have to find something that is sturdy, kid friendly, and stylish all at the same time. My barstools are perfect!

I purchased 6 counter height and 2 bar height stools and LOVE THEM! I also purchased 4 of the Tapered Red Bloom chairs. I use them all to furnish my newly designed home basement bar/entertainment rooms. After reading the weight limits on the Red Bloom chairs, I was concerned that they might not hold up under heavy weight, but to my surprise they held up wonderfully even after giving a big birthday party with sooo many different people and (some) heavier weight ranges using the chairs. They held up great! I am so satisfied and pleased with my purchases and intend to purchase other items from Overstock in the future. All of these purchases were my first purchases ever with Overstock, and these were close to a year ago.

These bar stools work perfectly for our little bar area we have off of our kitchen. We live in a condo and these are prefect for the size of our condo. We love them. They are not too heavy but built sturdy. Also very comfortable to sit in.

The stools are wonderul.. Appear to be sturdy and well constructed. The leather is soft deep red, not purple or burgundy. The seats are deep and would accomodate a tall or shorter statured person. The seam stiching is a nice detail.

The bars make perfect foot rests for people of all sizes. Stiching is flawless on the soft leather seats. Thread color almost the same as the leather. Nice detail in the stiching.

Just received my chairs today. I am very impressed by the quality and comfort of them. The color is very rich looking. If you are on the fence about buying them- don't be. They are great!!! These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. Impressed that they are real leather. Good quality for the price. I found a similar barstool at a large department store, but in faux leather and not as sturdy or balanced. Shipping was very timely. I couldn't afford a really expensive barstool, but these look expensive and are very comfortable. Excellent customer service. One chair was damaged from shipping and they had my new chair to me within three days. Overstock is now my favorite place to shop.
