I don't have a flat screen tv (yet) but it makes my regular tv look so much better. It was a little tricky putting it together. Luckily a friend stopped by and I put her to work. I recommend having help.I looked for quite a while and as usual, overstock had the best price out there.When putting it together, take it slow. Look at the diagrams and make sure they look the same as the stand as you go along.

The TV console arrived promptly, well packed and with all parts well labeled. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge. Directions recommended two people to put it together. That was good advice. We were very careful with each step, but got to the very last step and realized we had not properly placed one piece early on in the construction.. We were able to accommodate for that mistake but would advise that every step be agreed upon by both builders. The Cortez TV Console is very solid, stable and beautiful. It is a lovely addition to our family room.

Needed something to put my flat screen on in our bedroom. We didn't want to spend a lot of money because me are moving and we aren't sure what our decor or situation will be. I was pleasantly surprised with this piece. I would have given it 5 stars except it took my husband over 2 hours to assemble and he said the directions were not precise. He took a lot of time having to figure things out on his own. But the long and short of it is......its together and holding my 42" inch flat screen nicely.

This is and excellent piece of furniture for the money! It's very nice looking and easy to assemble. I bought a 42" flat screen and didn't want to mount it on the wall. My room is on the smaller side and this fit very nicely in the allotted space and looks great. After searching around furniture stores for a stand, they were either too big or too costly. This was the right price and size. You can't go wrong with this stand.

I gave this as a gift to go along with a 32" flat screen for my Mom. She says it looks very nice and is a perfect fit of the 28 lb. tv. However, she had a minor problem putting on the doors of the cabinet. Otherwise, it was a good purchase and as usual, the delivery service was prompt and exactly as I requested.

This was well worth it for the price. It's sturdy, the finish is beautiful and looks like an expensive piece of furniture. Parts are laminated but you can't tell.The only downfall is the open cabinet shelf is a little short so the receivers stick out more than I'd like. They aren't flush to the front. You could cut part of the back out if needed for better fit.

I was very please with this product. I received it very fast and with all parts included. It took about 1 hour for my husband and myself to put it together. It looks great in the game room!!! I order from "overstock" often and have been pleased with all of my purchases.

This stand was perfect for what we needed. I needed a quality TV stand at a reasonable price, and this was above and beyond what I expected for the price. This is a solid piece of furniture and really looks great. Anyone looking for a good buy, this is it. Thanks Overstock.

I had a friend put this tv table together so I can't say for sure either 3 or 4 stars ease of assembly. It is a very nice table/cabinet and good for a small space.
It has a good medium wood color. I am pleased with this table..now I need the tv to go with it!

It was almost perfect. The parts arrived with no dents or scratches, every piece
accounted for and in very well packaged.. The only fault was with the middle shelf
where the dowel holes on each end did not match the side panels.
It was necessary to remeasure and drill holes in the ends of the shelf to fit the dowels in Pieces #3 and #4.
It has been in use and looks good and very much serves its purpose.
This console is not good for standard satellite or stereo equipment. The piece itself is not deep enough to accommodate anything larger than a Playstation deck on the shelf, nor will it accommodate any two pieces side-by-side on the shelf. I am unable to use this stand for it's intended purpose.

I bought this stand for my girlfriend for Easter. I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first online purchase of furniture, but I was so impressed by the quality and construction of this piece. This stand worked perfectly with what we had and gave our apartment an upper class look for a very minimum price. I would recommend this stand to anyone looking for a quality TV stand.

I bought this piece because I have a 47" niche in my new den and needed a small TV cabinet that would fit--not an easy task. The Cortez was perfect, both for its size and price. I'm not very good with assembly, anyway, but this piece proved especially challenging. If you know what you're doing, getting all those dowels into the proper holes and have the connecting pieces stay together might not be quite so vexing. If you're not, get help! Be aware that the cabinet is darker than it appears in the picture (nearer a dark walnut), but it looks good.

We looked locally and the price was much less than in the stores in Atlanta, not to speak of the wasted time looking!
The color of the cabinet was true to the picture and it looks great in our media room. Our TV is a little wider than the cabinet, but it still looks great, so don't let the dimensions concern you.

This TV console fit our 47" flat screen perfectly. It was pretty easy putting it together. I didn't have any help and only put 2 pieces on backwards, which wasn't my fault. The directions needed to be a little more clear. The console is a great price and the end product looks fabulous!
