Corrine Dresser and Mirror Set

I ordered this dresser and mirror because I love Art Deco style, and it's a very nice piece. The top drawers are lined for lingerie, which was a nice surprise as that wasn't in the description. It comes in two pieces: dresser and mirror. The first mirror I received was faulty; on the back is a panel of very thin veneer that's meant to hold the mirror in place. The piece hadn't been cut large enough, so the veneer had pulled away from the screws and splintered. I contacted Overstock, who were very helpful about a replacement. I still have the original, however, with no indication that it needs to be sent back. I received the replacement quickly, and discovered, when I went to mount the mirror on the dresser, that there was no way to do that, as the veneer on the back of the dresser is as thin as on the mirror. There's nothing to hold the support brackets to the back of the dresser. I removed the brackets from the 40-pound mirror and have it propped up on the dresser. The best solution probably would be to hang the mirror on the wall. It's too bad this piece has this major fault, as I like the style and color.
