  • Transformer Table

    Great table and have received so many compliments! This table is very different the way it expands almost like a transformer. While in smaller size I have 8 arm chairs around and when expanded can fit 12 chairs. Make sure you have room in dining room for this piece...we had to move the buffet to fit properly.

The table just sitting by itself is 60" and when you start the expansion process it is expandable from the 64" to the 80 inches. We hope that makes sense and helps. Your specs say that the table measures 30"H x 60" x 80", implying that it becomes OVAL. I watched the video on U-Tube that shows it as a 60" round table that opens to form an 80" ROUND table (NOT oval). Please confirm if that is correct. Also, I can faintly see a scroll design on the top surface-- can you tell me what kind of wood that is (or what color?) cbchan on Aug 5, 2012

I was able to look into this and this is 64 inches to 80 inches diameter depending on whether you have the expanded piece in this or not. This has a Walnut veneer and is Six self-storing pie shaped leaves that slide apart. overstockcustomercare1 on Aug 6, 2012
