Corinthina Entertainment Center

I was very sceptical ordering something so large and expensive (even though the price was very reasonable) sight unseen over the internet. It turned out to be the easiest, smoothest transaction I ever made. The picture is true to the actual entertainment center. It is a beautiful dark chocolate wood. I've rec'd many compliments already. It came in 4 very large boxes, but it was already put together!!! All you need to do is assemble the four pieces. It was soooo worth the money and I would definately recommend this to anyone. I put a 47" T.V. HD in the center and I have room to spare. There are glass shelves and 3 lights that work by touching a button. So pretty!! I love it.

This center is well worth the money. Delivery was quicker than expected. Did have a problem with the delivery company not wanting to unload it off the truck but called Overstock service help and they got the issue resolved. Very little assembly required. Packed very well and everything was in perfect condition when it arrived. The electrical box on top is slightly visible -- but other than that I am very happy with the unit.

I probably would not have purchased had I seen it. On the plus side, it is 3 sturdy pieces and a bridge, I like the color of the wood - it's warm and rich. On the minus side, the manufacturer didn't pay attention to detail. The 3 lights do not operate independently so it's all or none; the light fixture box can be seen at the top of the cabinet which I guess is why the picture shows a plant hiding it - not only can it be seen but it is crooked. Glass on the door rattles when you open it. Too much CD/DVD storage which you can't remove - I'd rather have shelving or drawers. Missing hardware took over 2 weeks to receive. Though the item shipped fast (within a week)to freight company, it took almost 2 weeks with lots of calls/email/chat to deliver because "O" couldn't seem to coordinate with the freight company and then another 2 weeks for missing parts which I was told would be overnighted. Most disappointing was the customer service from Overstock. I've always experienced great service till now. Lots of promises and no action even when escalated to supervisors. Note to self-don't buy large items from Overstock again.

The finishing of the entertaiment center is nice....but the wood is delicate it scratches easily so keep it in mind if you have pets or children. The good thing is that it looks expensive and it has the glass doors and the lighting to give it the finishing touch. A really good solid wood entertainment center this size is over $4000 dollars. So it is a bargain, im satisfied with it but i dont give it five stars just because the wood will chip easily and i expected a more solid and strong wood entertainment center, hope it helps.
